If they release another song, I will probably listen to it once or twice like the first one. I just hate listening to a new album and then get to "that song I heard 50 times before." I think I listened to Ghost once before the new Silverstein album came out and the song came out like 6 months before the album.
Ghost was one of the few songs I overplayed the shit out of and it still feels fresh to this day. Definitely an outlier though haha. I’d still like a second single from the Used though to better gauge how excited I should be for the album, for better or worse.
Nothing The Used has released has really clicked for me since their debut and I haven’t listened to any of their newer stuff in full since Lies for the Liars. I’m curious about this but is it worth checking out the past few albums before this one comes out?
I would say if you are going to listen to any Artwork would be the one. It seems a lot of people have come around to it later on (and I've personally always loved it).
Maybe Artwork? Idk, if you didn't even like ILAD I doubt any thing on their past few albums will do much for you.
I liked ILAD, I just didn’t love it the way I did their debut. I think I’ll check out Artwork just to get a little more caught up and go from there.

Totally agree, too bad the edit is lower sound quality. Still interesting though! Also, just want to point out.................
Something interesting I noticed. It the pic of sheet music that Justin posted a couple of months ago, It lists a title for a song as "Load of Gum". This song title does not appear to be on the album, unless the song title changed. Could be an unreleased song or B side. Another song title on the sheet music is "Funeral Post", which is a song on the album. Guess we will find out in a few weeks!
In the Rock Sound interview they posted on FB, I think Bert said he had recorded an acoustic version of "For You", so this may not be the album version. Starting with an acoustic song on the album does sound unique and cool though.
I will have this album in time for my Seattle/Tacoma, WA trip. Couldn't have asked for better timing. Plus it's right before Halloween!
