To be fair, you didn't contact all retailers of the album and hand count the individual sales receipts yourself so.....
Goddammit I thought it would have sold 7 billion first week. Eh, most people aren't smart enough to understand this album :)
True, and it is on a label I've heard can be a little shady about reporting ... so it's probably actually less.
I'm thoroughly shocked how much I've been liking this album (other than the first track, which was thematically interesting but too hard to listen to). Also, reading through this thread has been hilarious.
I mean, it's a surprise for me. I've never been a fan of the band (sorry), but I became super curious from all the great reviews. And yeah, I loved this album -- very nearly every song.
i haven't given the new album a spin and the used are a band i used to also list as one of my favorite bands. poor bert
I don't know how any of that works, but it seems like they would not owe him for the live shows because the music is being performed live, for example cover bands do not pay royalties when they cover songs live. However they would owe him for the recorded acoustic album. I think its complicated though because he is a founding member of that Used LLC organization they are talking about, and should receive a paycheck from that considering he is still a member and has not signed away his shares.
It sounds like the relationships were already ruined, esp the part where Quinn wanted to go to the home town show to and was told he shouldn't come.
I imagine it'll read something like: Track 1: SOTY Track 2: SOTY Track 3: SOTY Track 4: SOTY Track 5: SOTY Track 6: SOTY Track 7: SOTY Track 8: SOTY Track 9: SOTY Track 10: SOTY Track 11: SOTY Track 12: SOTY Track 13: SOTY Track 14: SOTY Track 15: SOTY Track 16: SOTY Track 17: SOTY Overall: GOAT
Just the huge SOTY fan. Cannot believe we'll get a new album in less then a week. To relate this to the Used........it'll be better than the new Used.
I mean, if we are comparing the bands, one band can play really well live and one can barley sing anymore.
Yes, how disappointing that they were only 311% to goal on their pledgemusic campaign for the new record. They only exceeded the goal by 211%.
Oh man, this was such a bad attempt at a come back I had to read it a few times just to try and understand it. If I were you I would have just went with the classic "I'm rubber, you're glue"
