i bet some songs will be interludes, "A Thousand Suns"-style

New song sounds like mid-00 local emo band covering Bruno Mars. And it's great. But this mixing is meh

 

Times are all up on iTunes and they're all full songs I think.

How you liking the new song?

The guitar work is spot on but I have to agree the drums sound weird as. Song has been on repeat though I really like it! I'm sure @TUG is over the moon at the moment.

 

Crazy this is on iTunes for pre order and a song is out with nothing from the used officially announcing the album nothing on their Facebook page or their official website

 

Holy fuck the mix really is awful.

That said this legit sounds like it could fit on ILAD. First time I've been excited for a Used album in basically 10 years.

Yeah I feel the mixing issues but also enjoy the song. I also liked I Come Alive and Cry a lot too though so I'm not getting my hopes up too much yet.

 

Please let it be a concept album.

And preorders are up! I honestly about died when I saw they have a sweatshirt. I have been wanting a Used sweatshirt for ages!! Grabbed that one with the CDs since I'm still not on the vinyl train yet.
Edit: Damn I think it's just a long sleeve shirt not a sweatshirt. Oh well I still am excited it lol

I think this has probably been the most excited people have been about the used in a long time including myself haha.

 

I personally haven't been into The Used since Artwork...this song isn't bad.

Without a doubt! Really hoping the rest of the record sees the band pushing themselves artistically like this.

 

i really like this song.

looks like its 17 tracks and theyre all at least 3 minutes long so no interludes or anything. im excited.

 

i sometimes forget how legitimately good of a singer Bert is. hes always had the screams and more aggressive smokey vocal tone but his melodies and vibrato are really impressive especially on this new song

 

Oh yeah 100%. I really hope he gets to explore more ranges of styles across the album, I'm definitely hopeful this will be a different album for them now.

 

Song solidifies the Used as the greatest band that ever has and ever will exist in the Universe.

 

Man I wrote The Used off like 3 albums ago but this is a great tune, I agree about those drums poppin out weirdly though

I hugely dig the album art and title as well
