I like it. Not as much as the first single though. I said this in the album thread, but it reminds me of TBS Where You Want to Be days. Mainly the rawness, break down, and crazy vocals in the outro. I see this song being in a video game lol.
This album got a 10/10 in the new Outburn???? Ross Robinson's production is getting worse and worse as the years go by
Feel like it would fit more on The Ocean Of The Sky EP but I like it well enough. Def not as good as the first song
I said it three times out loud and I feel very dumb that I needed to re-assure myself this was accurate.
I think part of the problem is that Bert must now be getting so much control over songwriting. Justin must be writing, based on what I've read, very much with The Used in mind, rather than his own style. Quinn was a massive part of The Used, and I just can't see them putting out much of anything good again without him. I read an interview with Quinn with Quinn when he was still in The Used, and he said this: The Used: 'Rhythm Is The Illusion To Music And To Everything' Thought that bit was quite interesting!
I like pretty much all of what The Used has done. But this song is straight bad. Especially compared to the last single.
The first song actually got me interested in new The Used music, this one was just objectively hard to listen to.
If I heard this song before the first single I probably wouldn't check out the album... it was a bit of a downgrade.
That first song had me wondering whether the Used would be good again. This song has me wondering why i was wondering.
