I mean, all of Coheed is based on a SciFi story based loosely on the lead singer's life and experiences. It's all kind of cheesy, but you wouldn't be here if you didn't love it.

Oh, and the "from the other side she'll save me" part of Evagria is absolutely bliss.

 

I mean, it can be both. Domino is a classic epic, anthemic Coheed song that tells a great story. It packs a punch (pun intended) and sold me on coming back to Coheed.

Evagria is weird but beautiful and this band usually nails it whenever it experiments with a new sound.

That said, it's all just preference in the end. My favorite song ever by them is IKSOSE so I'm partial to those long epic prog anthems, so I went with Domino.

Can someone give me a hot take on The Afterman? Don't see the appeal of that song at all, only The Hollow and Holly Wood sit lower for me.
