Guns almost doesn’t work, BUT the drumming is insane. I hated the song upon first listen.

Watching the Kerrang interview right now and Claudio just said "when you think of Lucky Stars versus True Ugly..." I thought that was a nice little coincidence that he said that I was trying to compare other Coheed songs.

Guns doesn't work because of the drumming

 

I honestly think the drumming is fine on Guns. It’s just that the production/mixing makes it sound so buried and sloppy

 

Guns: most irrationally disliked song in the catalog

Yeah, the production sucks, but no worse than most of YOTBR. It's a cool, interesting and even catchy idea. I'll take something with a modicum of creativity and intrigue over vacuous snoozefests like Hard Sell/Dark Side/Pavilion
