For a band with so many high points, the "listen well will you marry me?" portion of The Suffering might be my absolute favorite Coheed moment.

I love Welcome Home, but... Willing Well II. Come on.

 

Hey, you don't have to convince me. I was just surprised it's getting blown out like this considering how many people were talking about it being a top Coheed song, it's a banger, it's their most popular single, etc. etc.

 

It's also still 9am! Let the Welcome Home homies wake up first!

 

It honestly was a hard choice for me. Welcome Home holds a VERY special place in my heart. I was 13-14 when it came out and it blew me away. I had never heard anything like it. I was burning a lot of CDs still, and at the end of every album I would put Welcome Home. Probably my most listened to song of all time if I had to guess. But objectively, I think Willing Well II is a better song.
