Just was relistening to this for the first time in forever and the streaming version of this album has all these little outros on the camper valorium songs that were definitely not on the version I bought from iTunes back in the day. Weird!

here's an idea, let's do a consolation bracket for all the runner-ups from each album. Yeah?

The Camper Velorium II: Backend Of Forever
    The Light & The Glass
Three Evils (Embodied In Love And Shadows)
In Keeping Secrets Of Silent Earth:3

Would the winner of that re enter the finals?

That happened in the Anberlin one and it allowed the final match to be between 2 songs off the same album lol, Dismantal.Repair and Fin.

Or the Silverstein bracket where Call It Karma beat Smile in Your Sleep for the DTW bracket. Then Smile won the wild card bracket and ended up winning the entire thing by beating Karma.

I wasn't really into them at the time (I've changed that) so I missed that. That sounds like a wild ride lol!

The problem is with random seeding. Certain songs should be on opposite sides of the bracket and kept apart until the finals for a given album. Crowing and IKS are the perfect examples of this. I think everyone would probably agree that those are the two best songs on the album, regardless of which is your #1 and which is your #2. With that in mind, Round 1 should've looked like this once the random seeding put Crowing on the same side as IKS (changes in bold):

    ROUND 1
21:13 Vs. The Camper Velorium II: Backend Of Forever
The Ring In Return Vs. Blood Red Summer
The Camper Velorium I: Faint Of Hearts Vs. Three Evils (Emodied In Love And Shadow)
A Favor House Atlantic Vs. Camper Velorium III: Al The Killer

    ROUND 2
Winner of 1 Vs. The Crowing
Winner of 2 Vs. The Light & The Glass
Winner of 3 Vs. Cuts Marked In The March Of Men
Winner of 4 Vs. In Keeping Secrets Of Silent Earth:3

I get what you're saying, but I think random seeding really is the way to go for this bracket and all brackets in general. Otherwise, it'd be left up to the person running the bracket and it's entirely subjective.

Regardless of the seeding, the best (or most popular or whatever) song from each album SHOULD win. Runners-up don't mean much with random seeding though.

That's what is typically done, but it's all up to the person running the bracket

New bracket idea: I'll seed them all based on my preference for each record to ensure my favorites are always the top 2. Thoughts?
