This still doesn’t have a release date, right? I finished the book today and thought it was really good. Hoping it translates well to the screen, and it’s definitely in good hands with Barry.

apparently each episode should be given its time and space and its effect is cheapened somewhat if you binge anything, so i'm gonna try that

 

Plan on watching this once a week, no way I’m binging this. First episode was just truly stunning. Couldn’t pull my eyes from my television.

I have mixed feelings on the first episode. Gonna sleep on it and maybe give it a rewatch tomorrow.

 

The second and third episodes were much better. Jenkins has really leaned into horror elements for this and I wasn't fully expecting that.

 

I’ve seen this show compared to season three of Twin Peaks in its ambition and experimentation. Love all of Jenkins’ work so I’m excited to check it out.

 

Overall really good, although some episodes could've been edited to be shorter.

Finished this today - had been on my watch list for a while. Really liked it overall. The cinematography and set design was exceptional, every scene is a painting.
