This was very amusing and meta. Fun chemistry all around.

I love Nic and Pablo so they made this enjoyable and worth a watch, a couple of laughs, but a lot of the humor in this fell flat — disappointed overall.

I had a fun time with this. Nic Cage and Pedro Pascal were both great. The CIA interactions dragged it down a bit for me, but I did love that in the end Nic Cage is more competent than them. The best bits were the one on one's with his younger self. TELL THEM NIC CAGE IS A GOOD KISSER

found this mostly enjoyable but honestly it lost me in the last 20-30 minutes when it hit the action movie part of the movie, very boring car chases and gunplay and blah blah blahhhhhwhatever. Some fun moments in the movie though

  8. This is my favorite movie of the year so far lol maybe I'm just in a really good mood but I adored it. It wasn't as over-the top as I expected, in a good way. They didn't burn out the bit. It was funny, charming, feel-good, and just generally easy to watch. Hit all the right notes for me, evolved over its runtime, and didn't overstay its welcome. Really wonderful stuff.

it literally went with the screen play they were writing together. everything mirrored the screen play. it ruled.

No I understand that, but that doesn't inherently make it good.

This was bad. It just ends up being the action movie it is supposed to be parodying.

I watched The Family Man for the first time today and remembered I need to see The Unbearable Weight. Nic Cage being Nic Cage is my kink.

    Of course it was?

The pig movie was a better example of grappling with Cage's legacy.
