Wow yours was actually really good I would've loved to see more one for the kids but I doubt they'll play any of that anyway. I'm just hoping for maybe rough draft live.

Clearly Paper Walls and Lift a Sail are my favorite YC albums...

 

Paper Walls is such a criminally underrated record. Easily my favorite record of theirs and it's not even close.

 

Also I'd take out every song off of Lift a Sail, maybe just one song in the set to cover all their bases. Personally I don't think it holds up well at all to the rest of their discography.

 

Homie this is 2 extra songs. Those last two cut are the hardest part.

Although I did double-check and JEW was 22 songs total... guessing this should say "22 songs including a two song encore"?

I'd cut Gifts & Curses and Five Becomes Four.

 

Oh, Becky had a typo in her original post. My arbitrary rules for the original list was 22 total songs.

I brought up this game in one of the threads but now that it's time to actually try and narrow it down I literally can't so whoops.

 

I'm really surprised at the lack of Cut Me, Mick on any of these lists. Paper Walls is so good and that's probably my favorite Yellowcard song.

 

No Always Summer makes it a no from me.

That said, I'm only really into Ocean Avenue, Paper Walls, WYTTSY & Southern Air. The rest I either haven't checked out (somehow I never properly gave Lights and Sounds a go), or just don't like (pre Ocean Avenue, Lift A Sail).

 

In hindsight I guess it wasn't cheating since I put "Breathing" twice. I guess I just really want to hear "Breathing".

 

Too many from LAS on here for my taste, that is the only record of theirs I didn't care for.

 

Ha, I totally missed that. It's a great song, I don't blame you for wanting to hear it.

 

To be honest there were a lot more songs off that album (I'm a sucker for "How I Go" and "City of Devils" and "Sure Thing Falling"). I thought cutting it back to three was pretty fair.

 

Yeah, I understand. It's just a preference thing... I never thought I could dislike a Yellowcard record as much as I did that one. I really, really tried to give it more chances than I would normally give to an album I didn't care for and it just never clicked with me...

 

We should create some kind of tribute band. These are most of my favorites.
