would argue friends isn't great/is just fine and doesn't really hold up in a lot of places this is just speaking for myself, ofc
Hello resident Friends enthusiast. Much of Friends doesn't hold up like unfortunately a lot of sitcoms don't so I wouldn't necessarily jump to recommend it, but I do think it ages well in regards to navigating adulthood and relationships sometimes. When Rachel breaks up with Ross every time I'm like
I don’t like Friends, but I do enjoy the episodes with Brad Pitt. I feel like @AelNire needs to say her piece. Also, how did this happen in the Taco Bell Challenge thread
that's a good question. honestly though, a lot of it does have to do with the fact that i grew up with the show. watching friends is so comforting for me, and ross is just my fave. he makes me laugh. sorry i don't have anything deep here haha. if i just started watching the show yesterday, i'm 100% positive i'd feel differently.
David was great at comedic acting so he had tons of great and funny moments. Ross just sucked as a person lol
Chandler is one of my favorite TV characters and objectively one of the best also Edit: Seasons 1-6 Chandler
Wasn’t allowed to watch Friends either due to all the sex talk/allusions to sex The blood and gore didn’t seem to help matters though
I never watched friends growing up, so last year I watched it all on Netflix. it was fine. don't think I'd watch it again though. I grew up watching seinfeld.
Seinfeld and Friends are apples and oranges to me. Completely different shades of comedy told through the same format.
