Oh another thing, I liked how Canada introduced a new mechanic that keeps up the intrigue once they got down to the final 5, with the person voted out not revealing to the roundtable whether or not they were a faithful or traitor.
Watched the first episode last night, gonna do the next 2 later tonight. Nobody on the cast jumped out as immediately unlikeable to me, which is a little surprising. I guess it’s early lol
Same. I really like the first episodes the new twists are super interesting and add a whole new layer to challenges. It'll be interesting to see if US adds any of these. Agreed on the cast, from the get go I called Paul being picked as a traitor haha.
Think it was the introduction on the train, they just had one of those personalities that I was like AH HAH.
https://www.youtube.com/live/mtkHotpbCWM?si=tFIx6QJeTFYKlWOw Really great Zoom game that took place over the weekend between a bunch of Big Brother/Survivor players and podcasters. I had more fun watching this than several actual seasons of the real show lol.
Ok having seen the first 3 episodes now, I'm really enjoying it. Bummed about the first kill as I'm a fan. But there's plenty of other personalities that I'm already liking. The cliffhanger ending to episode 3 for me anxiously waiting for Thursday! Also for anyone else watching UK S2: I'm glad they seem to mostly be copying the challenges! I really feel the new ones caught people off guard for those expecting S1 challenges. The preview for the rest of the season.....I don't remember the UK previewing the addition of the "secret player"? Or whatever it was called that US teased. Also, interesting change that US only had 2 traitors picked, with the 3rd being recruited where UK had all 3 picked and a 4th recruited at the very start.
Finally got caught up on first 3 episodes. I kinda had a feeling there would be some secret player thing this season before I saw the tease so excited for that to finally be revealed. i feel like the 3rd death is gonna get at least one traitor exposed
For any US folks looking for seasons not on Peacock, I’ve found them on Daily Motion. This user has good uploads for UK S2 and AU S2: https://www.dailymotion.com/user/whowouldwin The AU seasons are my favorites thus far but UK S1 is close, which I thought improved as it went on.
I'm so conflicted with AUS2. The finale episode ALONE is top tier TV but the season as a whole isn't AS great. I think UK1 is still my favorite. I still smile whenever I think of AUS2 finale though. Also good job on promos revealing Kate's back? Wat. T h I don't mind, she was one of my favs in S1.
Finished AUS S2 last night. I do wish this show had a reunion special after the finales, especially after that one. While I understand why most don’t like Sam (my spouse HATED him), I thought he made for a great contestant in a show like this, up until his comments to Camille after they lost the money. Those went too far and soured me on him as a whole. I don’t feel bad for her or Blake for missing out though since they should’ve voted him out earlier.
A reunion would have been perfect. Here's Ash watching the end: https://www.reddit.com/r/TheTraitors/s/7RKooAQTlR But you're right, Sam made for good TV. He should have been gone waaaaaay earlier there were SO MANY times even right up to the end he could've gone. But as you said those final comments showed his true character. But what a finale. Damn.
The last few episodes of the UK traitors has been superb. Over the top funeral to backstab city. Love it.
