I honestly was SHOCKED they got Derrick and Wes and I had no idea they were on the season, really well done surprise in my opinion
I had heard rumblings they were going to show up midway into the season, but I didn’t know it was going to be this early. I’m glad it was! Much better than having someone show up more than halfway into the game like Kate.
Same! I said in another thread but Wes is on a roll, he just finished being in House of Villains S2 and is currently being shown in not only this show but also Worst Cooks in America? It's awesome. This was a welcome twist I had no idea was coming and they just added 3 heavy hitters with him, Derrick and Rob. Rob I knew because of the promos but yeah. Yessss
Boston Rob at it again. What a brilliant power move. Was it too soon though? But then there's Wes with his almost poetic "I caught you, Rob" moment that was just as good and with minimal effort. Wes - "How do you know someone is 100% a traitor?" Tom - "We don't......" Wes - "Yes...you do....If you're a traitor too." The room: Daaammmmmnnn.
Bob the Drag Queen played the game 100% as himself, which is unfortunate, because he's a wild card and ultimately shot himself in the foot, but god damn he is entertaining.
UK 7+8 RIP Linda, Mina damn lol. Alexander singing in the next episode was hilarious, that was a hilarious challenge. That coffin really BROKE Leon huh?? Damn! US 4 GO TOM GO hahaha. Bob TDQ was so stupid to make that comment, he deserved to go imo. All because he was "safe" with the shield he was dumb to say that a traitor must be someone without a shield, that painted a target on ALL the other traitors. Rob was damn good on his speech too. It MIGHT make others be wary of if him and view it as traitor on traitor but we'll see! Damn good episode though wow.
I’m so sad Linda is gone. They were perfect, messy TV and the show will so much less theatrical and camp as a result. That said, the picking of Charlotte as a traitor is excellent. She’s settled quickly and the sudden heat on Minah sets her up perfectly for a run at winning. She just needs to play it calmly from here and let Minah think she’s still in the clear.
Damn what an episode haha. RIP to Minah tho, she played a good game til the numbers dwindled. Alexander is still my fav hahaha, him misspelling Minah's name at the round table was hilarious. I don't see anyone guessing Charlotte now, she's totally fallen under the radar. Freddie was the smart pick because he's as good as dead.
My only exposure to this show was watching US S1. I really liked it. I feel like S1 was an acceptable amount of mid-tier stars trying to stay relevant, but not being overly crazy and "fake". I watched the preview of US S2 and was repulsed by how attention starved some of the people seemed and how it just seemed a little too over the top... was that just editing or does the extra-ness actually ramp up? I've heard pretty hands down that the UK versions are the best, so I'd like to pivot, but my wife likes some of the Bravo stuff, so she's interested in continuing on with US.
I’ve watched UK, US, Aus, and NZ. To me, UK is COMFORTABLY the best one. And season 2 is absolutely gripping. Give that one a go.
Yeah, s2 UK is by far the best from what I've seen. The cast are so much fun (I got annoyed by how emotional and over the top the S1 contestants were lol) and there are so many good twists and moments. Australia s1 is also top notch.
Aus s1 had the funniest moment tbf, when one traitor tried to literally drown another traitor on a task Just don’t watch Aus s2, the season so bad the show got cancelled lol
The format is much better when it's just the general public who think they're amateur sleuths rather than dumb d-list celebrities haha.
Tom’s “I’m pretty good at riddles, I’ve read a few Dan Brown books” is the funniest thing that’s ever been said on this show.
UK is gonna nail this finale...E11 was fantastic and I'm very interested to see if this twist makes it into other versions now. US E5: messy messy messy lol
The US is focused on celebrities yeah. Some people love it, some not. Other countries have dabbled in it, including both celebs and normies but they've all come around to just focusing mainly on the regular people, COMPLETELY opposite of US. Don't listen to what the other poster said lol, AUS2 is a brilliant season. That and UK2 are easily the top of what the franchise has to offer imo. There's not really a "bad" season, there's just two very different shows when it comes to casting.
