just when you think nobody can find a new angle on territory as well-trod as Macbeth

Stupid question but is this in full-on Shakespearean language ?

    it sure is!

I loved it anyway despite being too dumb for Shakespeare. Some of the best use of light and shadow I’ve ever seen.

This is the least urgent I have ever felt to see a new Coen. Maybe this weekend.

Saw this last night at the theater and I loved the way it looked and felt but not sure I *enjoyed* the movie. More like oh wow, this whole vibe is great but I wish I could take a 15 minute break then come back to it
