It's bothering me more than it should that my list has "bowie" in lowercase and Blake typo'd as "Balke." Great reading everyone's lists! I still need to listen to Radiohead and Pinegrove.
Need to get this Sturgill Simpson record in my ears. I've only heard the nirvana cover, but I loved it. Also, I was super surprised that Painkillers didn't make @Jason Tate's top 10, but glad to see it on a bunch of them!
Surprised at the lack of love for Car Seat Headrest, seems to be the sort of album that a lot of the staffers would really enjoy.
will be interesting to see how different some of these lists are by the end of the year with the stacked second half of 2016 that's coming. also nice to see so much variety, especially at the top of everyone's lists instead of the same two or three albums.
It's going to be hard to top Thrice, Brian Fallon, The 1975, and Architects but there is still a lot of time....I'm calling it now, biggest flop of the year, night verses
