TIL dogs are actually emotionally incapable of feeling guilt/shame. Those "dog looks guilty after destroying furniture" videos lied to us. When dogs look "guilty" they're actually just stress responding to your voice tone and body language. They don't have any actual introspective emotional reflection of their negative action . While dogs are emotionally advanced animals compared to others, things like guilt/shame/pride are too complex of emotions for dogs.

TIL throwing up when you see/smell/taste something gross is the human brain's instinctual defence mechanism to protect you from bacteria and viruses. The brain senses something that may be a toxic threat and hits the "purge everything" button basically.

TIL: In-N-Out serves 7-Up instead of Sprite (despite the fact they are a Coke-serving fast food chain) because many years ago, In-N-Out suffered a large warehouse fire and 7-Up temporarily allowed them to use their facilities while they got things situated. They serve 7-Up as a token of gratitude to the company
