Thanks! I wanna get back to Epcot sometime in the near-ish future, so I’m looking forward to riding it!
I remember how hyped up Mission Space was before it opened and then it just made me feel like shit every time I rode it. Glad there’s a tame version now but I still don’t ever ride it
I don't ride big coasters but my biggest theme park bummer is not being able to experience flight of passage because it makes me so motion sick like no other ride. tried it and had to close my eyes the entire time.
The only ride that has ever made me feel ill is the Storm Force Acceletron. Even after walking all the way out of the park, through CityWalk, to the car, and driving to dinner, I felt my stomach in protest.
I’m surprised at how many people experience motion sickness on different rides here. Not knocking anyone, it sucks that anyone has to refrain from riding certain rides, I just didn’t know it was as common as it is. I don’t think I’ve ever been on a ride (coaster, flat ride, simulator, etc) that has ever made me feel sick or queasy or anything. Is that weird? Anyone else?
FOP is literally the only ride i've had this problem with, I mostly blame the way the ride vehicle is set up + how close the screen is
The group I go with a lot won't ride The Simpsons because it makes them sick, but I have never had an issue.
I’ve never been to Animal Kingdom so I can’t comment on FOP, but I’ve heard a few people say that about The Simpsons ride. Only rode it a couple times myself, but it didn’t bother me.
I used to be able to do any ride and nothing, NOTHING would bother me. But now I’m 35 and it’s just not the same. coasters I can do any of them still, but flat spinning rider are nearly a no go. FOP honestly only gets me during/after the virtual flip part near the end. Then I typically ride it again within 5-10 min using the rider switch pass that my wife then decides not to want to do... so really it’s doing that so close in time again that gets me.
booked my flights for September and now all that's left to do is be hyped up every day until my trip!
I am happy for people who will go on a ride like that and also for it to make the wait times for the other rides a little shorter.
I likely won’t be back at Universal until HHN 2022, but I can’t wait to ride the Velocicoaster. Right up my alley.
It's not a major development, but today WDW announced the first (of probably many) steps to relax mask-wearing - you no longer need to wear your masks while taking outdoor photos, if you are physically distanced from others. I am assuming this goes for WDW official photos only and not like, just having someone take a picture of you with your phone. This is starting Thursday April 8th.
I hope the new spider-man ride sticks to the classic trope of “the plan falls through when some dangerous entity spoils it” and it becomes more than just a training grounds ride
Pretty excited to go out to Disneyland and DCA next summer for this (and RotR). Haven't been there in forever.
