yeah that jumped out to me as well as a horrible look, no theme parks anywhere in this country have any business what so ever being open right now lol
Yikes, that's a lot of people. I see that most are part time, so hopefully they have other jobs and aren't completely fucked.
They laid off a bunch of us at the Store since we are under the same division of the company I’m wondering if we count as the 28k
They are going to lay off as many people as they can under the coronavirus excuse, and when things get back to normal they will replace as many of these jobs as possible with automation while passing none of the savings to consumers.
man. that stinks. honestly, the realist in me says it makes total sense, with attendance down and the bars in the resorts likely not open to reduce crowding, it's money they don't need to spend - but - still really sad he was a true disney parks fan cult icon. hopefully one day they bring him back.
I’m behind on her show but that’s exciting I had a question make it into the unofficial universal podcast once years ago
Went to Quassy this past weekend for the first time.... Wooden Warrior was LEGIT a great coaster, from the drop to the ending just non-stop speed/airtime. Super surprised at that. Fun little park overall. Was excited to get two new parks in this crazy year (Canobie being the other). Hoping to get to SFNE and Lake Compounce prior to moving to OK next summer.
