i've had a few people fly southwest, jetblue, and frontier during this, and have all reported back nothing but positives about how airlines are handling it. the companies are doing great, it's the patrons you just can't count on. feels like every day i see a video of some lunatic having a meltdown on an airplane bc they're asked to put up their mask.
I flew from Philly to Orlando on American Airlines and didn't see anyone not following the rules. Everyone was wearing masks, except when sitting and eating. Everyone wore masks at the resort at all times too. Same goes for the bus trips to and from the parks and everyone in the parks. Disney had employees walking around to enforce mask wearing as well. I never once felt irresponsible and don't regret going at all.
I will try to get a reservation for Friday for passholders, but the weekend will be a zoo now. The virtual line will be filled in minutes.
is it changed to Soarin' Around the World in California Adventure too? when we were there last August it was Soarin' Over California and we were so psyched to be able to experience the original again. SOC is eons better than SAtW.
I think they brought back SOC for a limited time last year in an attempt to pull some traffic away from Galaxy's Edge. I assume it's back to SATW now but I can't say for certain.
Soarin over CA looks terrible compared to Sotw. I like the new show. I’m at DTD today to try to get the organist funko. Pretty impressed with the protocols here.
I was able to get a spot for the Friday preview after 20 minutes of site crashing and buffering. I just hope the park in general is not insanely busy because I would like to make a day of it.
The Tooth Fairy house was okay. They did genuinely get me a few times. The actors are behind glass which blunts the experience a little, but it was hidden well enough. It was a 45 minute wait in mostly shade but when I saw the wait for the other house is directly in the Sun in front of the big stage I decided it was not worth it.
We’re planning a trip for next September hoping that things are somewhat back to normal. It’ll be the first time going with our friend group and we’re all very excited. We’re definitely doing a day at Universal and HHN. I need a good HHN experience to make up for the awful one I had last year :(
