i am watching a theme park history of the simpsons ride and I do wonder what would it be like if they instead choose to do a fast and furious ride instead of that
do you all have a favorite ride reference to a previous ride or easter egg in the franchise because the back to the future reference in simpsons ride is so good also jurassic park and the shaving cream can in the end of the ride is another good one
Pooh has some Country bear busts hidden in the ride. Star tours is good about hiding the mighty microscope in the films still.
So many people say the Simpsons ride makes them feel odd, but I always feel odd even though I can have a weak stomach. I need to sit down after Storm Force Acceletron though.
I really like the Simpsons ride. Hasn’t ever made me feel sick or anything, though no rides ever really do.
Went to Universal and Island of Adventures this weekend. Hadn't been in a few years to either. Overall was a fun day. Crowds weren't very long. The newest Harry Potter motorcycle coaster was really great and only had to wait like 30 minutes for it. Fast and furious was closed but from others reviews, I didn't miss much. I was also really surprised on how well everyone did with the social distancing and face masks. If you had a drink in your hand you could get away with keeping the mask off for a bit, which was nice occasionally and I wasn't worried about that since the social distancing in the lines was complied with by everyone.
I miss rides so much that I’m watching videos from my own six flags also if you’ve never been on Superman, watch this, it’s beautiful
I got stuck on Superman at the NJ Six Flags at the end of the ride so we were still in the “flying” position. It was for about 30-45 minutes so it got annoying. We got free food vouchers, though
When I worked at Six Flags when I was 15/16 I would basically eat chicken tenders and fries with honey mustard every day lol. The good old days.
RUMOR: Universal Orlando Will Offer Two Halloween Horror Nights 2020 Houses During Regular Park Hours Starting September 19 This... seems like a bad idea? I just don’t see how you can make sure it’s cleaned properly, etc etc. Rumor at the moment, but still. I just don’t know.
It is likely going to happen. They have been calling people who auditioned for Halloween Horror Nights before they announced the cancellation. It would also make sense given how next weekend has extended hours that don't make sense for any other reason.
Just got back from spending a whole week at Disney World. If you can go anytime in the next couple of months, I highly recommend it. Their safety measures were great and the longest I waited for any ride was 20 mins.
we have considered going, quite a few times, and really the only thing keeping us back is money being tight at the moment. a friend of mine went in august and said the same thing about the safety protocols in place.
I did all four Disney parks in July. Doing everything at Magic Kingdom in one day is impossible in normal times, but I had an hour to spare. The only real significant waits were at Hollywood Studios.
I saw roundtrip tickets to Orlando for $71 and it's so tempting. Problem is I can't count on the airlines being as stringent as the parks. It just all feels so irresponsible.
