At seaworld Orlando today and it’s pretty dead. I’m not sure how it usually is here but it’s pretty nice. Walking around and being able to get right on everything is pretty nice. We did discovery cove yesterday and that was incredible. Since we booked the proposal package and a cabana, they put us in a private cabana right on the dolphin lagoon. We did the dolphin experience and at the end a dolphin swam over with a buoy asking my girlfriend to marry me. She cried and the ring was waiting for her back at the cabana. She said “yes” and it was a perfect day.
My sister was supposed to take my 5 year old nephew to Disney world next week for the 1st time. Naturally he’s obsessed with all things Disney because what 5 year old isn’t. It really breaks my heart to see him so upset over their trip being postponed and obviously just doesn’t understand any of this.
DLR/WDW aren’t opening again next month. I’ll put money on that. They sent all the DCP’s home. Kicked out, good luck getting somewhere. #CPHelp is something else right now on Twitter.
So one of my favorite part of Disney parks is all of the music, especially the atmospheric stuff walking from park to park. I know there’s a few apps to listen to this stuff. I use sorcerer radio a lot. I used to use reedy creek radio but it seems to have stopped working. Anyone have any recommendations for others? Yes, I know, this is super nerdy and I’m not sorry!
i do this frequently haha - if you have apple music there is a Walt Disney World album with a lot of ride/attraction/background music featured
I mostly use Apple Music but the Play Disney app has this cool feature where you can select different areas of the parks and it will give you a selection of music that either plays in that area or is appropriate for the theming there.
Sorcerer Radio is good, but my favorite on iOS is Subsonic Radio. It has 15 different stations going on at once! Here's a list: Requests Background/area music Staff Picks Great Music Ride (ride audio) Halloween Holiday Main Street Wilderness Jct (Frontierland/Wilderness Lodge etc) Future Land (Future World and Tomorrowland) Star Tunnel (Space Mountain queue and ride music) Soarin Living Seas Dole-Whip (Adventureland, Tiki, Polynesian etc) Tangaroa Terrace WEDWay (Disneyland TTA queue loop) Enjoy!
I've ripped queue music off youtube for offline! And totally not too nerdy at all, the Frozen queue music is like instrumental versions of all the songs that I find really calming and nice. I can't believe they don't sell it in the gift shop.
In 6th grade we had a class where we sewed our own pillows using an old t-shirt. I used a really great 90s Universal shirt I had because it didn't fit any more and I wish I hadn't
the Indiana Jones episode of podcast the ride and them talking about Star Wars land getting announced is fun. I still remember their live reactions from the park
