I personally like planning. The planning was fun and added to the excitement of the trip. I just didn’t think it was worth it once we got there. As an example, I know people love Epcot but at the end of the day, you’re just drinking at a theme park in Florida and paying a ton of money to do so. Most of the shops are just full of trinkets made in China. im not trying to sound like a grump, I just wish I enjoyed as much as most people do
I like to go to Universal with a cast member so I don't have to pay what seems like insane amounts for the front of the line passes. I like the idea and am glad they work for people but i can't swing that.
Yeah express pass comes out to be around 40% of your ticket price of you do 2 parks/single day tickets in FL. That’s just wild
Do they still do those days where you can bring a can of coke and get it for super cheap in the off-season? I feel like I did that at lot at USH in high school
Hollywood Studios is opening Mikey & Minnie's Runaway Railway tomorrow too - that park is gonna be a mess for a good long while.
oh I thought I just read that they were opening it tomorrow - huh.....maybe theyre doing soft openings? but even so, soft openings a month out doesnt seem right either.
yeah official opening is supposed to be March 4th when I'm going to be there....we are doing GE the day before to hopefully avoid that chaos
Has anyone here been to discovery cove in Orlando? My gf and I are going to Orlando with her parents in March, and they bought us two passes to Discovery cove along with an unlimited drinks package and swimming with dolphins. We'll also do Seaworld for a day since it's comes with DC
Did a Half-Day at Discovery Cove during my school's senior trip (2014), I had never swam with dolphins before so that was super cool and the rest of the time I just did the lazy river and that was fun.
