Last night, they were running them all night so we were crossing our fingers. I also love that our party of 4, they didn’t force another party to join us.
i absolutely get why they do it and its just my weird social anxiety but its definitely the least favorite thing of mine that disney does - grouping people you dont know onto rides with you that are like, close intimate spaces. like the people mover. or the ferris wheel in california adventure. like, im just gonna sit there weirdly now.
There's a water slide/coaster at Volcano Bay, and they made a girl basically sit in my lap and I have to put my legs around her. It was incredibly uncomfortable, haven't been back since.
When I had my Disney annual pass they never put me or people I was with into groups, but now that I have a Universal pass and they always fill to capacity. It is so awkward, especially the Simpsons ride.
Yeah haha it happened when we first walked in and then it booted back up. I told the bartender to put our bill on Hondo’s tab and he gave me the deadliest stare ever. I love how in character everyone is
Nah I didn’t but that sounds great, maybe I should have. one of my good friends from high school is currently working on Rise of the Resistance and he said it’s the craziest thing he’s seen in a theme park. I can’t waiiiiitttrt
We got here at 5:30 and have done two houses. Everything has at least an eighty minute wait. Tried to get a hamburger and had to ask for a refund because I stood there for fifteen minutes without getting any food. And both houses have been fun but...idk
This was the first year that my wife and I got express and the first year where I felt like it was necessary. Really sucks because of how much they charge for it. Hope your night improves.
Yikes. That’s unfortunate. Hope your night improves. My brother and I don’t get to go very often, so whenever we do decide to go, we make sure to budget for an express pass because the wait times can be outrageous, as you said. Agree they charge far too much for the express, should be cheaper and on a first come first serve basis, but I can’t see myself ever going again without one. My time is more valuable to me than that.
100% the reason I don’t go unless there’s a house I absolutely can’t miss. Last year was stranger things and Halloween 4 but I always hate the crowds and how expensive it is. I’d probably have a better time with the express pass but I absolutely couldn’t justify it. It’s not THAT good IMO. I hear florida does it better. Maybe one day
Went to Orlando last year with an express pass. Most houses were a 3-5 minute wait with express, longest was 15 minutes for Seeds of Extinction. Stranger Things express line was only 2-3 minutes, despite the regular queue apparently being over 3 hours long. Managed to do all the houses and go on all the rides, even doubled up on a couple (Transformers and Gringotts), and was out of there an hour before the park closed. My only real criticisms of the entire experience were a) how much we paid for entry + express, and b) the houses were a bit too crowded for my liking at times.
In six and a half hours we did four houses so lesson learned. If I ever go back I’ll have to buy the express pass. One other complaint would be the Universal employees in almost every room, it definitely took away from the immersion.
Last year was amazing because I went on November 4th at like 10pm and I was able to do everything multiple times with no lines
Won't they ship it for you? not to enable hahaa. I wish it weren't battery powered. I did get the funko pop because he's just too cool.
