Went to Land of Oz today. 4 hour drive there... 2 hour tour. I wasn't expecting much, but that place was awesome. I was selected to play the Tin Man during the tour, which was hilarious as I had to sing a page worth of lines and skipped down the yellow brick road with Dorothy, The Lion, and The Scarecrow. Daughter dressed up as Dorothy. Had a blast.
One of the Disney Facebook fan pages I follow did a Live Feed from the ride. I watched it; it looks incredible. Can't wait to get back down there. Hoping to stay at Port Orleans Riverside if we can manage to get there for our honeymoon next October.
Disney has got to do better with their Fast Pass option. Universal's is infinitely times better, thus, my park of choice.
The issue is that Universal's line generally are much shorter than Disney's. Also you have to pay for it, and its not valid on all rides. Now that you can plan your FP ahead of time with Disney, you can go without having to worry about not getting to ride something. Plus you can make additional FP reservations on the app once you are done with the first three. I will say that the perk of getting a free express pass for Universal and IoA when you stay at one of their hotels is great though.
Oh, is the Disney one free? Did not know that. Anyway, will gladly pay again and again for the luxury at Universal. Did it once and it was the best experience at that park I'd ever had. And besides HP rides, I think it works on everything.
Following along with the craziness of Frozen opening at Epcot. Hopefully the ride is at least kinda good #RIPMaelstrom
I could never wait that long. Saw a few photos of the ride- don't want to watch the video. Reviews I've read so far have been extremely positive.
I watched the video and figured by the time I ride it i won't remember the video. Looked great though. New Soarin looks good too!
my parents are taking my daughter to Disney World in a couple weeks. There is a possibility of me going too
It's probably mostly locals/people who really want to be one of the first to ride it in the opening days
Guess that makes sense. People who get to go to the park often. Just crazy to me to wait that long for anything, really, especially a 90 second ride when there's so much more to see and do all around you.
Had to give Soarin a miss first time around because the queue times were always around 2 hours. It's definitely a priority the next time though. Don't think any of my family are fussed about Frozen so I won't bother with that anytime soon.
Enjoy Hershey! That was my family's go to park when I was a kid. Al ton of great coasters and an awesome atmosphere.
Yeah, I love the Muppets, but their popularity isn't at a high point right now, considering the last movie bombed, and the new show barely lasted one season. Surprising they did this. Still, I'll be checking it out, especially if Sam Eagle is a part of it.
