The only throne that may be more glorious is the one in the Odyssey pavilion outside of festival season.

Pretty great day in Epcot overall. First time with a kid so definitely a different experience, but Chase photo pass spot helped us get a photo with Mickey and Minnie together.

There’s a new Stitch Chase photo spot at Hollywood next to Olaf. Think it’s open 9-12. Hoping we can hit that and avoid trying to find him elsewhere.

It's nice thing to have, but they're already in the park so I was hoping for some rare characters when we were there on Saturday.

We lucked out and he popped out next to the Joffrey's in the UK. It was my kids birthday that day and she was dressed head to toe (even stitch earrings and a birthday stitch ears). Saved us time to hop over to MK to see him there. We missed the Chase meet and greet at DHS the next day due to time, but it was okay since we saw him there.

It’s always some variation on the main 5. I want to walk in and see Friar Tuck or Dodger from Oliver and Company standing there. Bring out the moldiest costumes they’ve got.

That’s why we’re at Animal Kingdom today. No chance I’d go to DHS in this weather. Waterpark Saturday. Not sure what to do tomorrow.

Also, the new Dug meet is awesome.

Epic Universe with the express pass is not too bad. Just over 5 hours to do everything. At the risk of being crude, the seats are really hard on testicles.

Overall, Epic Universe is probably the best park in the area. I have never been to Legoland and it has been almost thirty years since I have been to Busch Gardens, though.

I make fun of how millennials act in the Harry Potter lands, but seeing Super Nintendo World was a nice experience. The theming is really comprehensive. The Yoshi ride is what it is, but the Mario Kart ride looks surprisingly good for being a bunch of screens and the Donkey Kong ride is not as jerky as reviews suggested.

Monsters Unchained is the best ride at the park. From the line to the animatronics to the way the ride keeps moving, it is all so good. Curse of the Werewolf is good but feels clearly secondary.

The Harry Potter ride is good. It is wild that the main line area features the main Black character named Kingsley Shacklebolt. We know that a lot of people dismiss or even approve of Rowling's transphobia, but those racist names should have prompted a bit more hesitation. The big circus show is fun, but it commits a cardinal sin of forcing you to stand in a big pre-show. Shows are for air conditioning and naps after you see them for the first time.

The Constellation Carousel is what it is but it is better than any other carousel. It stopped while we were on it a few times and it is supposed to be better at night. Stardust Racers was a miserable experience. Human beings were not meant to go upside-down or that fast and I would have skipped it if the person I was with did not want to ride it so badly. She does not respect my safety.

Dragon Racer's Rally is the only ride without an express pass, which is ironic considering the line does not get as long as some of the others and the ride is nothing special. Hiccup's Wing Gliders might be my favorite of the mid-intensity roller coasters. It just feels the most like what the storyline is presenting. Fire Drill is probably the weakest water ride in the area. It just moves way too slow to be exciting. Shooting the same targets a hundred times means the best part is hoping someone squirts on you. The How to Train Your Dragon show, however, is excellent and lets you sit down right away. Universal shows are generally very strong and it is criminal that Islands of Adventure has two big theaters with absolutely nothing happening in them.

We got to leave pretty early and there was almost no one entering, which is so unlike the constant flow of people in the main Universal parks. Part of that is CityWalk but it is also because the other parks have annual passholders coming for half days while Epic Universe costs full prices so everyone goes early and tries to stay as long as they can. Looking at the times of rides right now, I would go in the afternoon next time if I had express and avoid the horrors of the the Sun by hitting the right side first where the two big shows are.
