I’ve literally been telling for years that one of the parks needs to do this. I can’t believe they actually did…
Joe makes a great margarita. Also, the mexican street corn corndog was surprisingly good when I had it last year
So they released new discounts for WDW and I could save $800 if I bump down two park days from the Buy 4, Get 2 free deal and downgrade our room category at Pop. Would leave us with one full day with no parks, if we go to the water park on arrival day. Decisions, decisions. Disney math.
I managed to finally find an Oswald pin on one of the pin trading cast member boards and now it just looks perfect on the bag. this bag was really perfect for the Disneyland trip, I’m already ready to go back next month.
I ripped open a hobby box of the Disneyland 70th anniversary trading cards with my cousin on Wednesday at the Golden Horseshoe. I didn’t get anything I wanted to keep but I did get a Tinkerbell card which she could sign so I gave it to my good friend since it was his daughter’s birthday and they were going today. She got it signed and I’m hyped for her to display it in her room. He sent me this like 15 minutes ago. Hell yeah:
Yesterday was my first time at SeaWorld since I was very little, and it is definitely a major step down from Disney and Universal. Everything just felt more chaotic and amateurish compared to what Universal and especially what Disney does. I read that the new corporate behemoth that owns the park is all about cutting costs, and it shows with the staffing. Yesterday was very busy with Spring Break and a convention in town, and the rides seemed to have less than half the staff you would find at the major parks. They barely enforce checking people for their version of FastPass so people just duck under the lines and sneak on that way, making lines longer for everyone else. On Atlantis they don't even have someone to organize the boat rows, so multiple boats went off with whole rows empty. On Expedition Odyssey they don't assign seats, so when it came time to go in the room and sit you ended up with empty single slots and groups had to split up or ask others to move. It seems like it is more popular with the locals, probably due to pricing, and because of that there were a lot of teenagers that seemed to be roaming in feral groups. Obviously all the parks want to sell you additional stuff but SeaWorld felt particularly flagrant about it with a QR code to buy their FastPass at every corner.
i wish my anniversary wasn't in october because i'd like to go to universal for that occasion but don't wanna deal with hhn
