The water rides at Universal were a walk-on last night. I had to do the walk of shame on the Dudley Do-Right ride because the ADA log flume was not working but there was almost no one on Bilge-Rat Barges. It was a mistake and I did not feel warm again until I got home and got under a blanket.
A country music themed bar/restaurant/music venue from Luke Combs and Grand Old Opry coming to Orlando Citywalk This will be Category 10's 3rd location after Nashville and Las Vegas
Man I got lucky and had a perfect day at Epic yesterday. Rope-dripped Mine cart: so so fun just too short. I waited about a half hour with early entry which is the only way to do it. mario kart; ehhh. Really wish they hadn’t gone the VR route, it’s just not that successful. But the queue is worth haha. hiccup gliders: rode it twice, fucking perfect, so fun, just like that slinky level of medium coaster intensity that is my fav monsters unchained: also fucking perfected, like the next generation of haunted mansion. The blending of animatronics and screens is very well done. Did it twice as well. Usually super short lines because it’s not IP for kids I guess ? Yoshi: meh, also super short but cool views and cute. werewolf: ayooooo a little too wild for me but I survived lol . When it kind of stopped and I was just pointed towards the ground I was like noooooooo ministry: we were the LAST literal car of the day; walked in right before 9, waited a half hour before riding. The queue is STUNNING, holy shit. But it does go on forever haha, probably the longest queue I’ve ever walked through ? Ride is decent, screen/graphic quality is way higher than the older stuff, but could be better in terms of physical movement. the level of detail across the whole park is super impressive, Paris especially. So detailed, so much French. Overall just an amazing day and can’t wait to see how it improves over time (or gets worse because of corporate greed)
I rode the Mummy for the first time in over a decade and I really felt like I was going to fly out of the seat in the last drop. I remember it being much scarier, but that was when I used to go to parks much less often.
Interesting. Pretty stoked to hear Emperor’s New Groove is getting a ride (although seems kind of a random choice of IP?) Intrigued by the indoor water ride concept too. Not a fan of MK’s Pirates Of The Caribbean, so I’m open to something like that on a larger scale
I think that Universal beat them to the punch with Villian’s Land. They can’t go creepy castle because that’s basically Monsters Unchained. So a boat ride using Shanghai Pirates system could work. A family coaster makes sense but can’t see that theme sticking. Could see going with an Elephant Graveyard theme. Seems simple enough. It’s wild that this is gonna take until 2030 at least.
Cosmic rewind so good. Got “I ran”, slapped. Also was a brave boy and did Everest first thing this morning, pretty fun but a little rough on my neck on the one turn haha
In retrospect I also found flight of passage super disappointing. Didn’t feel like an E-ticket. Just Soarin’ on a bike.
feeling the ribs expanding as the mighty ikran takes a deep breath betwixt your thighs didn’t move the needle for you?
