they are closing the bad/underwhelming f&f ride and replacing it with one that probably will deliver more effectively on the namesake of it being both fast and furious
probably Pokemon. i think either IP would probably benefit more from a full area than a ride, but Zelda even moreso
def more likely Pokémon then Zelda, I thought I heard rumors of a Zelda theme area at epic at some point
never officially confirmed but heavily rumored likely due to the thematic links (pun intended?) with both zelda and lost continent being steeped in high fantasy imagery
rumors have been a new Back to the Future or Ghostbusters attraction to replace F&F Supercharged but nothing has been confirmed and plans often change
Lol I heard they were bad when they first opened and then never made time for them. Maybe this year I'll finally do it
It's such a long walk of nothing in between Seuss and the Harry Potter stuff. It is almost as bad as those empty areas in World Showcase at Epcot.
Watched the new Disneyland Handcrafted documentary put on YouTube by Disney themselves. A lot of really cool archival footage from the building of Disneyland.
Then rumors forever have been Zelda in IoA replacing Lost Continent and Pokemon in Studios replacing Springfield. There was a supposed leak years ago for a proposed Zelda land at universal that kinda matches Lost Continent. A Great Fairy Fountain walkthrough attraction that fits Poseidon's Fury building and a Hyrule Castle live show that would fit where the old Sinbad show was. Also a replica of the Great Deeku Tree.
Watching that Disneyland documentary and it's crazy that they went from a dirt lot to opening day in a year. I can't imagine anything going that fast nowadays. Also, my wife was amazed at the lack of safety concerns the workers had during that time.
took my third trip to Epic yesterday and now the only attraction i haven’t been to yet is dragon racers rally finally did: - hiccups wing gliders - a nighttime ride of curse of the werewolf - a nighttime ride of stardust racers - how to train your dragon show really great day and stayed from early admission to close and for the first time in a long time at a major orlando theme park, we were given the option to stay on a ride upon completion (monsters was so empty with 30 minutes till park closure that a cast member asked us if we wanted to go again and it was glorious)
Also we had that option on dinosaur last time we went, the whole car stayed for another round lmao it ruled so much
Wife is checking out the universal horror unleashed in Vegas tonight before her work conference starts, it is a vibe she says
The Universal Horror makeup show is the perfect air conditioning rest stop after that 3 mile walk from the parking garage, security, CityWalk, and about half the park itself.
