All the "erm that ball actually isn't 400 LBs come on!" comments really show how few people understand how physics work.
its a fun show, nothing like having a nice cold beverage in the Florida heat watching Indiana jump from rooftops and shit
I think that show’s days are numbered, but not because of safety. With them opening the new Animation Courtyard and Monsters Inc, it’s really the last big piece of real estate for a new land in Hollywood Studios (Frozen?).
Indiana Jones is probably the best show at HS now, granted I haven't seen the new Little Mermaid show but I haven't heard too much great things about it. Plus it's a good crowd eater which that park needs
The new Little Mermaid show is solid. It’s just an updated version of the previous one, but it’s a lot of fun. Not going to be anyone’s favorite, but just about everyone will enjoy it. The Villains Show on the other hand… as much as I love the Disney villains, that one’s a skip for me.
Also that area's two big IPs (Star Wars and Indiana Jones) have/are getting rides in other places on property. It's definitely next on the chopping block to create a new land.
Need to show these posts to my wife who thinks I’m too into theme parks idk what you guys are on about
she used to be a regular host of this segment that would play on the resort tv channel on all hotel TVs that covered the must-do activities at all 4 theme parks, the 2 water parks, downtown disney, etc that was, to many, an essential part of people’s vacations if you stayed at a disney hotel getting into the hotel and putting on that resort guide channel was basically my confirmation to myself that i’m in vacation mode and all is right with the world for this small fragment of time
I’ve never actually stayed in a Disneyland hotel. It’s 90 minutes away from me so I always drive there and back same day
Very cool, wholesome moment happened this week. My sister and her fiancé are in Orlando rn and did Epcot, Hollywood Studios and are currently at Epic Adventure. Her fiancé used to be an imagineer and actually worked on Journey Of Water and this week he actually got to see it in action in the park for the first time. He’s such a great dude and I’m so glad he finally got to see his work.
