we kinda knew we run through the park cause it was a Wednesday during “off season” but goddamn we basically got there at 8 and went on almost every ride by noon lol at DCA. we basically used our lightning lane passes just cause we paid the money for them, we probably could have gone without them really. Disneyland today on the other hand we need to be top tier planners.
as long as you can rope drop 1 of Tiana's Bayou or Rise of the Resistance and be fine with waiting 40-60 mins for the one you didnt, you honestly should get one mostly everything else easily. You can single rider Smuggler's Run if the stand-by wait is too long. if youre not going until later in the day, i would get LL to make sure you get on what you want to get on.
We'll definitely be there early but idk about rope drop. luckily don't care about Smuggler's Run at all lol
my cousin told me no Tiana’s unless the sun comes out cause last time we went on it, it started raining after lol
There’s just something special about the nightmare before Christmas haunted mansion. They always update it in better ways.
I’m actually annoyed I’m going in October again because of it lol I do not like nightmare before Christmas
Got to check out the Walt Disney show they have now and they have a bunch of animatronics and it’s so cool
We were here from like 9ish to 7:30 and we hit everything once besides ROTR and we got some good ride pictures. I’d call it a successful trip.
HHN 2025 completed! My house rankings: 1. Terrifier - all around best scares, vibes, and sets with the best scare actor interactions 2. Jason - scares at every turn and a scary claustrophobic ending 3. Gálkn - immaculate vibes, set design, and creature work (happily did this one twice) 4. El Artista - (best of the rest) impressive facade and top tier set design with plenty of scares 5. Hatchet - did this house twice with the second attempt finally firing on all cylinders for me and showing off good creature interactions 6. Five Nights a Freddy’s - visually it was very impressive and if i had some attachment to to source material, i’m sure this would scratch all the itches…but it just wasn’t very scary (but yay robots!) 7. WWE - i think i just missed all the scares but loved the execution of the concept 8. Fallout - really liked the setting, but it seemed to be lacking much else and i missed a lot of the scares for the entire second half of the house after experiencing a stronger first half (vault section) 9. Grave of Flesh - just decent overall and liked the visual of descending into your own grave but pretty basic overall imo 10. Dolls - did this one twice because the first run was a total dud…second attempt seemed more fleshed out and staffed, but the house ends just as it starts to pick up steam Scare zones seem to get less and less attention by the creative heads and were fine. Bringing back the overhead jack-o’-lanterns for the scare zone between cafe la bamba and animal actors is always welcome. That was probably my favorite one thematically and has a cool little stage show with a scare actor performing almost each time we passed by.
