do you ever miss old tower of terror or do you prefer the guardians overlay?

 

too much of the old MGM Studios stuff is gone now, if they ever tried to change Tower of Terror i would need to be institutionalized

 

im a tower of terror forever but i do enjoy guardian a bunch

im excited to try the Halloween one tonight too

 

I would have been institutionalized when they took away the great movie ride

 

i think thats forever safe at WDW. i cannot imagine looking down hollywood blvd and seeing some stupid marvel version of ToT at the end. thats a bridge way too far.

 

not to mention they already have a near perfect Guardian's ride at WDW

 

I prefer the theming of the old tower of terror but guardians has better mechanics

Truly my favorite part is seeing old rides in other attractions

i’ll be better once Muppet coaster is in place

 

@ComedownMachine pulled up and then we ran through Grizzly River rapids, Incredicoaster and then Guardians Monsters after dark.

him and his wife went on it again but I’m probably done for the day so now it’s just shows for me lol

Great movie ride was the worst closing since Alien Encounter

it helps that i like the replacement a lot but yeah i still pine for great movie ride every time i take that first look down hollywood blvd

 

OH MAN I JUST REALIZED RUNAWAY RAILWAY WASNT OPEN LAST TIME I WAS AT DISNEYLAND

I know it’s the same as Disney world but still goated

 

saw this and you know what we need cars parody to be a popular genre

 

Years ago I had an idea that was basically the great movie ride with Muppets filming one movie and at the end of the ride you watch a 5-10 min movie finished product.

 

Guardians is the better ride, but Tower of Terror was one of the few places they nailed the theming in the early days of DCA and the only thing I really had nostalgia for besides like A Bug's Land there. GRR is really tight though. I hadn't ridden it in a long time until recently and now I want to go on it every time.
