my main takeaway from my trip last week/weekend is that galaxy's edge is such a great spectacle that feels so empty and lifeless. its beautifully done, laid out so nicely that you're always seeing something new as you turn a corner, the rides are good to great, and yet it just feels so dull. it needs more cast members acting as citizens, more people hustling and bustling around, make it feel like the spaceport theyre trying to set it to be narrative-wise. you basically just get a few stormtroopers being led around by regular cast member (which really feels like it takes you out of it), Rey is just casually walking around which feels kinda cool, and if youre lucky you get a Kylo Ren appearance. give me mooooooooooooore immersion.
my cousin accidentally booked Disneyland for Wednesday and DCA for Thursday but it’s supposed to be switched cause DCA closes early on Thursday and I don’t want that he’s over here struggling to switch and I’m like bruhhh
my new favorite ride and made even better by the fact that i’ve never waited more than 10 minutes for it in all the times i’ve gone on it
my wife and i have gotten by most years just with early entry and getting lucky with choosing the right lines at the right time but last year was the first year we struggled to do all the houses without express we’re getting express for the first time in five or so years when we go soon
