the few people I asked about how they felt about monsters inc closing we’re all pretty happy with it closing and avatar land coming and I’m in the opposite where I wish they could have actually made a true monsters inc ride that wasn’t based off a fail ride.
I mean, technically that’s happening in Hollywood Studios lol. But yeah I agree. The basic concept of Monsters was just a re-skin of a vacant Hollywood Limo, so it was fun but nothing incredibly interesting. Hence why it was my “escape the heat” ride
oh yeah lol I keep hearing TikTok people say avatar land so I forgot it’s included with it. I just wish they gave monsters inc a proper ride. It could have been something special or even just do Lilo and Stitch. I just don’t think avatar fits the area lol
Yeah I agree. Avatar being in CAA is a weird fit. But I trust it’ll be good even tho I’m not really into that IP. It’s weird because I could’ve sworn they said last year before the announcement that the Avatar area would be in Disneyland and not CAA. But maybe that was just a rumor or I’m misremembering? But even if that was a case, it still wouldn’t fit there either

was at work yesterday daydreaming about being at a theme park specifically Disneyland California Adventure at night drinking some alcoholic beverages and enjoying the vibes that is Pixar Pier or at night at Knotts Berry farm walking around the snoopy campground area so good
as always, very jealous of anyone that can even somewhat casually just "go to disney" and it's not a once every few years vacation also jealous of rich ass @GrantCloud who lives in minnesota but still goes to orlando 6 times a year
