Went to the park on Saturday and all we did was eat Bengal BBQ, ride the train, get a sweet treat, and ride Tiana's for the first time. Pretty good trip. Tiana's was dope. I wore a poncho and still got completely destroyed. Is it just me or does it go way faster now? I felt like we barely had any time to look at everything while we zipped through. Highly recommend the Matterhorn Puff from the Edelweiss, it's a choux pastry filled with like a cheesecake cream, lemon curd, and fresh Blueberries, topped with white chocolate. Bomb as hell.
Wife and I took her mom to the park today for Mother’s Day. Heat was unbearable at times but the crowds were decent and we still had a good time. Runaway Railway broke down right as we were about to get on which was annoying as hell. That’s the third time it’s happened to us. Also did Goofy’s Kitchen for my first time which was fun. The pineapple coconut curry, sweet potato hash and the carrot cake were highlights
tbh I wasn’t sure what I was expecting. I was under the impression that it was gonna be like one of those chocolate chip cookie-filled croissants like the viral ones from France last year. Turns out it’s just a flattened croissant covered in sugar and caramelized It was okay. It tasted good but the texture was weird. Kind of a pain/mess to eat too
Just got back from a great trip to WDW, but I'm not sure if we'll go back until the new stuff is done. We were really impressed with Port Orleans Riverside, though. I had heard horror stories about the buses there, but we encountered exactly zero issues. Cosmic Rewind remains the best ride in any of those parks. And ten minute waits for both Rise and Seven Dwarfs during Early Entry was unexpected, and obviously welcomed.
First time staying at Swan hotel this week and it’s pretty sick, nice we can literally just walk to Epcot, Hollywood and the boardwalk. Also since it isn’t a “Disney theme” there have been noticeably less kids, so that rules also
