It's team member and team member's guests only closed previews right now. There is a reason no video has come out of the park yet. Filming/pictures are strictly forbidden right now.
Hearing lotta workers are inviting influencers and shit as “family” to the previews too, shit is sooo weird
Read some fairly underwhelming reviews of both the DK and Wolfman coasters, but Frankenstein Manor and Starfall Racers ride seem to be legit, A+ attractions. With only 11 rides on opening day, I really can’t imagine seeing anything with less than 45min wait.
Video leaked of the POV of riding Donkey Kong. It was way more kid friendly, and not in the fun Hagrid’s Motorbike way, than I expected. I’m wondering now if this park will start a bit more kid friendly. It still looks incredible and has so much room to grow. And I can’t wait to go.
some of the early reviews say it’s very family friendly outside of Starfall racers. Not a true thrill ride in the park besides that. Sounds Monsters Unleashed is not as intense as FJ (thank god) but also rather light on actual scares/horror. We still haven’t heard any review of the HP ride since it seems to be taking a bit to get operational, maybe they’ll be a bit more thrilling?
There was a lot of people that were lobbying for RnRC to be Goofy Movie themed instead of The Muppets
hopefully this helps me relive the high of accidentally getting the highest score when i rode it 20 years ago!
Iron Gwazi exceeds the hype. Velocicoaster barely remains the best rollercoaster in Florida after that. The Moasasaurus roll is just slightly better than Gwazi’s dive barrel roll. About to do a back row ride after a front row ride and could change my ranking because Velocicoaster was best in back.
Back row is much better. Velocicoaster still reigns for me. Montu is still an absolute legend. It may not be the best ride in the park anymore, but it’s still my runaway favorite. Sheikra is cool, but dive coasters feel a bit one note to me. Kumba is closed and rumor is it may never reopen, which would be an absolute gut punch. Cheetah Hunt is “nice,” but I expected a bit more. Cobra’s Curse is a top tier kids coaster; Phoenix Rising not as much but I could see kids absolutely going nuts getting off of it so it’s perfect as a gateway coaster. The defunct Scorpion still being up makes my heart hurt. My first ever coaster. Tigris is a blast, a good step up from Python. Falcon’s Fury is a total mind trip, but really cool. BG looks like it really needs to revitalize Stanley Falls and Congo River Rapids. It would probably be great if they could get another water ride or two in. It’s been a very fun day. Longest I’ve waited for anything has been like 20 minutes. I forgot how different a park that doesn’t focus on dark rides can feel. Hadn’t been here in 18 years and I’ve got so many memories as a kid growing up in Tampa at this place. My one main gripe is $40 for parking is criminal. I know most of it goes to “animal conservation” or whatever, but c’mon.
As a Tampa Bay kid who wasn't ready for adult roller coasters yet Stanley Falls was my shit growing up.
That’s the only ride I ever got my grandma on. So there’s happy memories there. When did Tidal Wave come down? That bridge was a lifesaver on hot days.
I got an iced coffee and did a walking tour of a lot of the animal enclosures while I drank it. 10/10 when you need a caffeine pick me up.
I have never seen it but I have heard a lot of people say the ice skating shows at BGT are really underrated theme park live entertainment especially for a park that people don't associate at all with indoor live shows.
Any Disneyland locals here? How insane am I going to Disneyland during LA Co Schools spring break week? Im going there the Wed before Easter as part of our Coachella trip. I’ve went on Dec 23 before and experienced insane crowds, will this be anything on that level?
