I haven't really seen this talked about much, but about a week ago the new tenant for the former DisneyQuest/NBA Experience building in Disney Springs was announced. A high end escape room chain out of New England called Level99.

    your scene is weak

we have a level 99 at providence place. haven’t tried it, but my sister / niece / brother in law love the place. there’s a night shift brewery / restaurant inside, too

My sister is obsessed with escape rooms, so she’ll be really hyped about this

It's hard to see in the picture how many of them there actually were, but there was a huge murder of crows flying around the park at dusk yesterday. It was kind of ominous. They kept landing on the corpse of the Innoventions building that they refuse to do anything with.

This was an inevitably. Universal's contract for The Simpsons ends in 2028. It's not in perpetuity like their Marvel contract. If Universal were to keep Simpsons past 2028 that means Disney would have to agree, that's never going to happen.

Does make me wonder if we’ll see Simpsons stuff at Disney sooner rather than later, or if Disney still has to abide to 2028

Just chiming in here with some input:
    - TRON can be really difficult to get without a wait. Since the park is open to resort guests a half hour before everyone else and TRON is not open for that, a lot of people will line up for it before you can even get in the park. That being said, Touring Plans is estimating that you'll have a 39-minute wait if you rope drop it, which isn't too awful. I'd imagine it'll be around 70-90 minutes later in the day.
    - Most days, TRON will also drop scattered Lightning Lanes during the day. You can see the past history for that here.
    - Comparatively, Rise of the Resistance is a bit easier, because it has scheduled same-day Lightning Lane releases, which you can find here. Looking at Touring Plans, you're in for a wait of about 86 minutes if you rope drop it (again, because resort guests are already in the park). Hollywood Studios is also supposed to be really busy on Monday.
    - You'll also find scheduled same day Lightning Lane releases for Toy Story Mania, Tower of Terror, Slinky Dog Dash, Alien Swirling Saucers, and Millennium Falcon at HS and Tiana's Bayou Adventure, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, and Space Mountain at MK. They're available at the same link as the one for RotR.
    - If you're going to do Fantasmic!, definitely do the 10:00 showing rather than the 8:30.
    - I do highly recommend using Touring Plans to put together an itinerary for the day in conjunction with Thrill Data. It'll give you some idea of what you're up against. In conjunction with Touring Plans, the Lines app has much more accurate wait times than Disney's app will show you.
    - In addition, if you can figure this out on your phone, it makes acquiring Lightning Lane Multi Pass attractions much easier.

Not to sound too old man yells at the clouds, but theme parks didn’t use to feel like they required the same level of logistical planning as a small invasion of a country.

    Die rad.

Day One at Hollywood Studios done and man it's so exhausting having to use the phone, preplan, etc. No lightening lanes were really available for any good rides. Riped dropped Rise of Resistance and waited only 40 mins so happy about that, but the ride itself really wasn't that good. Only rides I didn't get to was Slinky Dog and Mickey and Minnie Runaway Train.

Today is Kingdom, planning to ripe drop Tron and get it out of the way. Then have a 10:50 LL for space mountain.

My thoughts on Swan and Dolphin is they're really nice but if you are paying that much for an on-site WDW resort you might as well just go with one that is actually Disney-fied with it's theming and isn't third party owned/operated.

Yeah we just want convenience since we are doing those two parks and only two park days, we looked at other Disney resorts but either they were too expensive for our short trip or we don’t care for the available resort lol

swan apparently has some of the best coffee at Disney world so I’m stoked about that lol

    Die rad.

Did two days this week at WDW. (Monday- HS, Tuesday MK) What a super exhausting day and we don't even have kids. I don't see doing a full week as enjoyable and completely content with just 2 parks/2 days. Everything is just so frustrating from Lightening Lanes, to still waiting in long lines, having to be on your phone the entire time checking stuff. I didn't think the food was too overprices, but the Star Wars cantina was a joke. They rush you with a 45 minute limit (understandable), no chairs (so you don't get comfy and want to stay), 2 rounds of drinks for a couple and it cost over $100 with tip. Drinks barely had any alcohol in them and the atmosphere really wasn't anything special. We left there feeling jipped.

    Hollywood Studios
Rope dropped (non-DW resort) Rise of Resistance. Waited like 45 mins. Didn't think the ride was anything special, but well put together. I'm not a star wars fan though.
Was able to LL Aerosmith, Muppets, and Star Tours.
Waited hour and a half for Tower of Terror
Waited 45 mins for Toy Story Mania
Ate at 50s Prime TIme Cafe and it was ok. PB&J Milkshake was great, rest of food was good.
Was so exhausted we left by 730pm and skipped our 8:5pm LL for Mickey and Minnie's Runaway train.

    Magic Kingdom
Rope dropped (non-DW resort) Tron. Waited one hour for front cart. Line moved super fast. Had a blast and wait wasn't bad. Turned around and waited an hour to get back on it again. Line was shorter this time, but went slower. Wish we did it at night, but didn't want to risk it.
Walked right on Carousel of Progress, Country Bears, and People Mover.
Was able to LL Space Mountain, Small World, Pirates, Haunted Mansion.
Waited an hour and a half for Jungle Cruise and this was by far the worst idea ever. Line dragged and the ride was definitely not worth it. We should have waited that time for Seven Dwarfs Mine train instead.
Ate at Liberty Tree and it was amazing.
Watched the 8pm fireworks against my will and was pleasantly surprised. Smartest move was watching them way far back near the entrance of the park so once they were over we were on the second monorail out back to TTC. I couldn't imagine how long that line gets. I heard someone saying up to two hours for monorail after fireworks.

All in all this 41 year old couple had sore backs and spent $1,300 to go to 2 Disney World parks in two days. Not including the car rental or off site stay. Not sure I would ever go back. We went to Orlando for other reasons and figured why not check out Disney World. Certainly wasn't as fun as it was 30 years ago lol. I give all you parents credit, dragging kids around all day. So exhausting and expensive. Not mad we went, but would certainly not do it again in the next decade.

Went to Disneyland today on a rainy day and it was nice, walked onto every ride. Finally got to ride Rise of the Resistance too!
