Disney, I'd like you to give me a better deal for my trip in May. And maybe now's the time to do that right after the Universal announcements!

 

Haha, no. Just getting impatient for the Disney+/Magic Ticket deals they had last year.

Honestly, though, the Port Orleans package we have now isn't bad at all.

 

I wound up going to California Adventure last night at the last minute. I don’t think I’ve ever been to the parks during the yearly Halloween/Christmas transitional period, but it was kind of amusing.

Carthay Circle still had jack o’ lanterns and the entrance to Cars Land still had Orange and Purple lights up, while San Fransokyo had wreaths and ornaments hanging up already.

 

i just assumed everywhere else was like wdw where it’s seemingly all swapped overnight

 

Im doing Disneyland the week before we do 2nd weekend of Coachella this year. It’d be the Wednesday before Easter in April…I’m assuming kids have off probably…is it a deathwish going to the park during a week like that?

I’m not familiar with how busy DL gets compared to Orlando.

 

it’s actually not that bad around that time of year honestly

 

I did that last year on that exact Wednesday before weekend 2 it wasn’t bad tho I was able to hit every ride in Disneyland

 

im going with someone who is very eager to try and do both parks 8a-midnight in one day. im like you do realize we’re going to a festival in a few days right?

 

I think we were out of Disneyland by like 8ish but I didn’t feel anything Thursday so that was a relief but both parks would have me hating myself fr

 

IMO, the first quarter of the year is probably the best to visit Disneyland. Especially if you’re going on a weekday. It can get pretty busy around spring break season tho. I’d be a little wary late March to mid April

It’s easy for me to be excited about Epic Universe because nothing is closing as a result of it. With Disney I don’t feel like I can look forward to anything that will cause the closure of Dinosaur, potentially Muppetvision, and the destruction of the Rivers of America

 

I still think Monsters is going in Animation Courtyard. The rumours about it going back almost a decade always said it would be the Courtyard and they would gut and expand into the staff building behind Launch Bay.

 

I just don’t trust Disney to make a good decision like that lol
