One thing I was thinking about with Epic Universe. There are about 13 rides and shows opening day, and of those only 5 are indoors (Monsters Unchained, Mario Kart, Ministry Of Magic, Dragon stage show, and Harry potter stage show), everything else is mainly outdoors. What is this park going to be like in the Florida Summer when either it's incredibly hot or it is pouring down rain?
Not saying it won't work, saying it will be hectic. Most MK's attractions are indoors, most of Epcot's attractions are indoors, most of DHS's attractions are indoors. The only WDW park heavy on outdoor stuff is DAK, but that has gotten better with Pandora adding two additional indoor rides. Pre-Pandora DAK was absolutely miserable in the summer with limited options to escape the heat/rain. I have been to Busch Gardens Tampa multiple times in the pouring summer rain when they shut all the coasters down and there is pretty much nothing to do.
Islands of Adventure has a lot outdoors. It's very noticeable when it rains because Universal is mostly indoors so there is much more to do there during a storm.
There seems to be a ton of indoor food options here which I think is pretty cool. But yeah you are basically drinking, eating, or shopping during storms
the week I wanted to visit Disneyland is going to have both space mountain and haunted mansion still closed. That’s rough.

Man I’d be down to just book from Sept 1-9 and just jam out to sweet tunes. Not surprised Yellowcard is playing. Key is a huge Star Wars guy. Pretty sure he will be living in Galaxy’s Edge when not performing.
I have walked past Ryan at Epcot a couple years ago so definitely makes sense! It was pretty packed for Simple Plan earlier this year so I might try to grab whatever dining thing they have for Yellowcard. 98 Degrees would be fun too haha.
They really don't even try to book new acts for this? Seems like it's the exact same lineup every year.
Tours already skip Florida all the time. It's hard to find nostalgia acts big enough to be noteworthy but desperate enough to compete with the animatronic show and turkey legs.
Loving what I am seeing from this new Universal FL parade. The Ghostbusters, Jaws, and Jurassic World floats are legit incredible.Very very cool to see Chief Brody, Captain Quint, and the mayor or Amity as face characters. It goes: Back To The Future, Sing, Minions, Kung Fu Panda, Trolls, Ghostbusters, ET, Jaws, Jurassic World
If anyone's planning on going to Six Flags Great Adventure, don't. Operations are a total shitshow this year. Almost everything notable has experienced significant closures, some long-term (Kingda Ka, Zumanjaro, Wonder Woman, Log Flume). When they are running, coasters are running single trains with some limited exceptions. Also, Vertical Velocity has still not been tested and is not open. This will be the last year we get season tickets, even with the discounted prices. We did just get back from Hershey a few days ago, and that park is much better than I remembered. Really looking forward to Dollywood next week.
There is going to be a documentary about the Epcot refurbishment on Disney+ 7/19. That'll be interesting lol Wonder how honest they'll be about their grand plans being scaled back to nothing.
it’s so frustrating to see the massive empty pavilions in the front of the park still. have to believe they’re done with Epcot for awhile, but hopefully epic universe does well and it pushes Disney back to investing in Epcot quickly.
