I think I just missed completely on trying anything good. I went to the pizza planet, holly jolly cafe, and then galactic grill. I sabotaged myself.
found out great moments with Mr Lincoln will also be closed when I’m there and that’s it’s. I’m hurt. BEST RIDE DOWN.
Why does it take them so long to build something and open it. They literally have all the money in the world
i hope that frozen ever after gets those new animatronics one day because the screen projected faces have not held up imo
One thing Iger implied during the shareholder q&a I thought stood out: A shareholder asked him "why isn't WDW doing anything to counter Universal's 3rd gate?" and his was basically that they already countered, that Disney has known about Universal's plans for Epic Universe for more than a decade, and that Galaxy's Edge, Moana, Tron, GoTG, Rattaouie, Runaway Railway, and the Epcot renewal was the preemptive strategic response to that.
Stella Nova and Terra Luna already have. I think Grand Helios is expected to be within the next 2 months or so
They are also pretty affordable. Feel like Epic Universe tickets may hit a new high for single day tickets.
Brayden has a pretty good track record. This is what he is hearing from his WDI sources. His stresses that this is just what he's hearing right now and that all of this is still up in the air and subject to change The original plan for "beyond big thunder" was to due away with Frontierland by splitting it in two: A Princess and the Frog heavy Bayou land around Splash Mountain, and a Latin American themed land themed after Coco and Encanto around Big Thunder. The Latin American Coco and Encanto concept instead moved over to be the new plan to replace Dinoland at DAK The current plan for this new land built around Big Thunder is an American Desert Southwest theme with Cars and Woody from Toy Story being it's tentpole IP. A clone of Radiator Springs Racers from DCA will be the major new E-Ticket for this Desert Land He is also hearing from his sources that a western Woody themed mini-area that was originally planned for Toy Story Land will be included in Desert Land as well He strongly believes the Rivers of America will be either partially or fully filled in, and that Tom Sawyer's Island as we know it will no longer exist The Villians Land behind Haunted Mansion is still happening. He doesn't know what IP will be used yet, but he heard there will be a minimum 1 E-Ticket attraction and 1 D-Ticket attraction and that it will be massive. It will connect through Desert land and a path behind Haunted Mansion There was a plan for a haunted mansion table service restaurant, and he believes that has now been canceled Pecos Bill getting rethemed into Tiana's Restaurant as a part of Bayou Land was a major plan, but it was supposed to already happen so he is unsure if that is still happening He has heard Country Bears refurb (as a part of Bayou Land) will be open this August
Ugh, why clone Radiator Racers? It's a good ride but its essentially a childrens version of Test Track. Very diasppointing to hear that they're going with Woody and Cars as the tentpole theming here. Would it kill them to not use IP just once?
Yeah this is pretty disappointing. Radiator Springs Racers is one of the stand-out rides at DCA and it would kind of tarnish DCA’s uniqueness if they opened it at Magic Kingdom too. I’m not opposed to them having a Cars area at Magic Kingdom. It would be fun. But use some different ride concepts or something…
Toy Story is already in MK... Like Space Ranger Spin I am sure this would be based on the fictional IP that Woody is from, and not the actual toy character. I can see them doing it in a way that makes sense.
the recent string of disney ip that hasn’t seen the same major success and praise they’re used to definitely makes it likely they’ll double down on all their properties that still have staying power
The way he described it, and from the original concept art from when it was supposed to be a part of Toy Story Land it doesn't sound like it's going to be a ride. Looks more like a kid's play area.
