I'll be about an hour from BGW and Kings Dominion for roughly 4 months or so next year, sooooo definitely going to purchase season passes for one of them while out there. Never been to KD, but LOVE BGW having gone twice. Edit: Also, the best Thanksgiving post ever
Headed to WDW for Christmas in a couple weeks, any must do Festival of the Holidays things to check out at Epcot?
Looking at the lines this week, I'm glad I have blackout dates on my pass. It costs less money and keeps me from going at miserable times, making it more likely to visit when it is reasonable. A win win.
cousins were going for a family trip to Disneyland next week for two days and they invited me. I said screw it, it’s been like 5 years since I last went so now ya boy is going next weekend.
I feel oddly attacked by this and not that anyone is asking, but I’d shit on It's A Small World before I’d ever streak on it
Anyone familiar with Magic Mountain? I’m looking to hit it up while out in LA around Christmas. I heard crowds can be atrocious at all the LA parks during that week. Is the Platinum flash pass really worth $255/person?
If it were magic kingdom they’d be dragging him through the utilidors while chip and dale beat him with day old candy apples
Very familiar with MM. It's pretty trashy these days. If you're not a coaster-head, it's not really worth it. It's the "LA" park that will teach you the difference between a theme park and an amusement park. Can't really speak to the crowds though, but it's probably safe to assume that week will be as busy as the park gets outside of Halloween. My dad's work used to have family day there where they'd shut down the whole park except for employees. You could basically walk on to any ride, I rode Ninja like 14 times in one night once. Also had a season pass all through middle school since it was only like 30 minutes away. I remember one time I went with my sister and her friends and one of them drank a bottle of Bacardi O on the drive up, right when we were getting on Goliath he threw up in the seat and they had to shut down the ride.
price for one day at MM with platinum Flash pass is $308/person. Disneyland 2 park ticket for one day with Genie+ is like $280. Debating which to do, my partner absolutely refuses to stand in lines so I’m nervous that even with Genie the DL lines will be wild the Friday before Xmas.
