I’m considering going to Knotts Berry farm next month just because it’s probably one of the cheaper parks plus Snoopy gotta love snoopy
not lame. and it’s a great ride. when we went 2 years ago (today actually) I woke up early and my VQ failed…or At least it said it did. We ended up getting one after all and missed it. We ended up very kindly talking to guest services and they arranged to give us one for anytime after 2 pm on our last park day. They were even going to upgrade us to hopper if we didn’t have it already. Just the pass alone was fantastic and I would have never even asked about anything extra.
ROTR is really great when everything is working. When I was there last year Kylo was in b-mode for the final scene and the cannons were no longer moving with each shot in that attack scene.
I've heard the cannons are permanently down and Kylo is in B-mode a lot of the time, doesn't really take much away from the ride and if you didn't know they were supposed to be different then it doesn't even matter
So you can join the tron virtual queue at 1pm but you need to have scanned into the park before 1pm to do so, but you can’t park hop until 2pm, therefore if you go to another park in the morning you can’t ride Tron that day? Cool, makes sense, got it, good idea
You sure it's MK specially? Wasn't that what they did for ROTR and GOTG as well, but you can check in from any park I though.
You have to buy an ILL, or scan in at 2 and hope there's still VQ's left. Unless you have Extended Evening hours then there's a 6:00 VQ
Going next month as well, work is having a family day. Hoping to just eat fried chicken and boysenberry pie all day.
It does seem like it's fairly possible to get a VQ at 2pm when you tap in to MK. TRON Lightcycle Run Virtual Queue Chances for Success
Yeah, I haven't heard the cannons working in months, if at all this year. Glad I got that experience once, with full A-mode throughout the queue and ride. Had B mode last time I went and that ending just isn't nearly as good.
I was able to do both LL and VQ for Guardians yesterday since Epcot was open til 11 and had the extra VQ. What a fun ride, can’t wait to do it again
So I’ve been following the progress of epic universe pretty closely, and it seems like these, barring any unknowns (very possible), will be the opening day attractions… Central Hub: - Constellation Carousel - Starfall Racers (dual track launched racing coaster) Super Nintendo World: - Mario Kart dark ride - Donkey Kong mine cart coaster - Yoshi omninover family ride Wizarding World: - British Ministry of Magic dark ride - Special effects stage show set in wizarding Paris Classic Monsters Dark Universe: - Frankenstein’s Manor clsssic monters dark ride (same ride system as Forbidden Journey) - Curse of the Werewolf spinning coaster - Some sort of show (unknown) How to Train Your Dragon: - Viking themed interactive boat ride - Launched steel dragon training coaster - Dragon stage show - Sky fly spinning flat ride
Do you guys stay at the resorts or elsewhere? This year we sprung for Riviera and I’m so excited. I have to learn the whole genie+,LL process.
We stayed at All Star Movies in 2019 and had conjoined rooms with my sister and her family. We went alone in 2021 and stayed at Caribbean Beach. We love the skyliner so much and wanted to stay on the skyliner again but wanted to try somewhere different again
We stayed at Port Orleans Riverside our first time last year, and the grounds were really nice and quiet and the boat to Springs was nice. We splurged this year and stayed at Beach Club and that location can't be beat for us. We've now been spoiled and it will be hard to stay anywhere else
