because people spend stupid money there lol Disney Springs rules, so much better than the old Downtown.
glad I got one last ride. RIP. Looking forward to the update even though I expect it to take like 5 years
I don’t think it’ll be too long, it sounded like it was just going to include some re-skinning of the AAs and adding screen and fog effects. I’m sure I’m oversimplifying it tho.
Welp - was hoping to get to WDW in January but finances weren't lining up like we were anticipating (and don't want to be part of those supposed 18% of visitors who go into debt with their trips to the parks) so guess we're missing one last ride on it. I hope it's open within a year. I think they can do it.
the tweet says late 2024 so, probably around 2 years from right now, maybe a little less if late 2024 means a potential fall opening.
damn, one week before we get there. hopefully big thunder mountain will be open, that was closed last time we went
The absolute worst time to go to the parks, but maybe I can squeeze in those early January days when kids go back to school.
Kinda tired of Disneyland after our Magic Keys just expired. Really want to try to make it to WDW next year for the first time. What's the least amount of days you need to even make it worth it. Hopefully I just win that Insiders contests for a week stay.
For your FIRST time, probably 5-6 days? If you dont care to see all the parks you can probably get away with a long 4 day weekend and hit at least 2 maybe 3.
I assume it will be gone by next year. It's an easy win for him and the company, since it's a big contributor to guest dissatisfaction and won't cost them anything to fix.
some friends of ours sent us something that said they were getting rid of park reservations and 2pm park hopper limit on Jan. 9 but I haven't been able to find anything that confirms it
i would be surprised if park reservations, in some fashion, werent here to stay - but the 2pm park hopping mandate needs to hit da bricks
You need at least 6 days in the parks first time if I'm honest. 4 days of sticking with one park, and then two two park hop and hit what you missed/want to do again. That's just me, though. Afterwards we tend to do 5 days since the mil discounts are too good to not just add a fifth day at the parks.
