I remember hearing stories a few years back during what may have been Dorian that lots of castmembers who were on duty at the hotels during the storm made it really fun for guests and kids, playing movies and music and keeping people as entertained/distracted as possible, which of course goes well beyond their call of duty, but was nice to hear.
If they don’t reopen all the bloggers and vloggers will die from lack of content. They have exasperated all the content they can get out of the hotel rooms they booked for hurricane content instead of staying at their actual houses.
Those people were sick. Seeing them cheer the parks reopening so early and then rooting for the end of mask mandates was too much to take.
Yeah... seems like it's too early to be opening back up. But you know the company is just thinking about how much money they're losing (or, not getting) by the minute with everything closed.
Our power just came on for the first time since the 27th (Hurricane Ian) so it’s time to put away my three Disney-themed scented candles that have been lighting our house every night. Our room might smell like Pirate’s water for a month now.
https://luxillume.com/products/we-wants-the-redhead Looks like they’re out of the cheaper options right now but they have a scroll down menu of styles. There seems to be a 10% discount for registering your email with them too.
It probably sounds dumb but I had such incredibly stressful dreams last night about my upcoming Disneyland trip that when I woke up today I actually thought “Jesus do I finally need to see a doctor about anxiety medication”
Went to Everland today and finally got on my first Intamin wooden coaster. Thing lived up to the hype and then some. First drop is massive and the ride never lets up. Easily a top 5 wooden coaster. FerLX_jUYAMsVH0
I went to Knotts for Knott So Scary night and honestly it reminded me how Lowkey knotts is a good park. They have a good ride selection and stuff.
https://deadline.com/2022/10/disneyland-raises-ticket-prices-disney-genie-lighting-lane-1235141518/ So many price increases and so few ideas to compete with Universal's new park.
Picture it 2027 - Disney makes a huge announcement that Push the trash can is back….all the fan sites should go dark for 6 months. No Facebook shares or Tik Toks or whatever.
holy shit how have I never heard of Evermore before? This park looks so cool. Like an all year permanent immersive Ren Fair but with heavily Disney inspired layout and show design.
Currently at Polynesian drinking at the terrace and even though we aren’t going to any Disney parks (Universal/HHN trip), life is good
