Haven't followed this too closely, but I didn't realize that the park won't be opening until 2025 now. I'm going to be so old by the time I make it there, haha.
I went to a new park down in Busan (South Korea) last month and it was pretty dead (Lotte World Magic Forest featuring no trees whatsoever). Got everything done in about 2 hours. State side, there's a new one in Iowa that looks super dead, even over the 4th of July holiday weekend. Guess location has a lot to do with it. I imagine Uni's new park will be busy for quite some time when It opens.
It's probably been talked about in this thread before but I want to pose the question to you all Is Genie+ actually worth the extra $80? 2 adults, 2 days, never been to DisneyLand before, plan on doing California Adventure the first day & DisneyLand park the second Trying to save money where we can but also, I really want to maximize the time we have
And really, sorry for all of the questions I've been asking, you all seem more experienced in this than me
You could always try it on the first day and buy it again the next day if it felt worth it. The last time I was in Disneyland, I used whatever they had before Genie+ and it worked really well
I picked up some pins for my friends and man they really had a bunch of sick ones I could have easily bought a bunch
that one is actual a personal pin for me because yeah I wanted the shirt but the quality is so bad on them. I’m here for the people
so I went yesterday and I just have to say that in while I think the park is very mid right now for me. i went on every ride except Jurassic world which I’ve been on a million times and then the life of pets one because no one in my party cared for it. I think right now the studio tour is at a very weak spot. I don’t know if there was filming going on or anything but we weren’t allowed to see the Metro or the back to the future tower so that was a huge bummer. The Nope part was cool but like you reallly need to be a fan of the movie to even understand it while most the other ones you could understand without having to watch. It also hurts just seeing all the past attractions sitting there rotting when some of those would be cool to bring back in. Harry Potter ride was cool but man riding that gave me motion sickness and it knocked me out for the rest of the day. The huge problem is most of the park is now having some sort of screen rides so my headache only kept getting worse. The Harry Potter ride also broke down when I was on so that wasn’t fun. idk I just think the reliance on screens now for most of the rides has really made it worse for me or maybe I should just save Harry Potter for last. Nintendo Land is going to be good but also bad since the wait times will be brutal for at least a year there. that was my rambling for the day.
also single rider > over everything i got on Harry Potter, transformers and mummy in less than an hour of waiting. I went in a group of 7 but we went single rider because it was so worth it.
Not me, on the phone right now with WDW to figure out prices on hotels in January... We have Shades of Green booked, but only 5 days out of the 7/8 we want to be there. Thankfully they do bag movement free of charge if staying on property.
One time I went to the lobby of AOA to get a luggage cart, walked my bags from Little Mermaid section of AOA to Pop Century and then had to bring the luggage cart back to AOA lobby. Thought it wouldn’t be a big deal. Almost died. Walked 15 miles that day. Mostly because my wife didn’t like that we wouldn’t have our bags until 5pm if we had them move them. short version…have them move your bags
