I keep thinking about going to universal studios but dang there really isn’t much there since the studio tour hasn’t changed and the only new ride since I last went was the life of pets ride
Star Tours Muppetvision 3D Living with the Land Also if The Great Movie Ride still existed that would be in there too.
With D23 coming in September what are guys expecting? The piece i'm currently reading is saying DAK is next in the rotation to get a major new ride, they think it will be the main focus of the presentation like Epcot was last time, and they think it's either going to be Zootopia replacing Dinoland, a Pandora expansion, or both. This isn't going to happen because Disney probably doesn't think it has IP power but personally If they're going to replace Dinoland with an IP-land I think it would be cooler to do an Ice Age land. Keep the theme of extinct animals and just make DAK the hub for family friendly 20th Century IP in WDW. Also if they're "IP-izing" DAK i would not be shocked if they take something that already exists like the Safari or Rapids and just slap Nat Geo logos on it.
Disney executives all pretty much became that lawyer from the first act of Jurassic Park didn't they?
We designed this experience for the wealthiest people and now we are shocked to find out that there’s really not that many wealthy people in general, much less ones that want to play space role play for 2 days. Truly shocking.
Imagine instead they made a Pop sized value resort with lightly themed rooms for 200-250 a night. Wouldn’t shock me if it had no vacancy for years.
Anyone have experience/recommendations for cheapish hotels in Anaheim? Going to California for a few days in October and plan on doing 2 days at Disneyland. Flying in to Burbank but a friend of mine in CA suggested finding a place in Anaheim proper
Heading to Disney World for 8 days! My 3 year olds first time (she is 2 for the purpose of this trip obviously). Last time I get to experience one of their first times. Hoping the magic and force are on our side. Hearing horror stories about people getting COVID early in their trips. Vaccines and boosters don’t fail me now!
Starting to book some meals for our trip in august, able to get in for lunch at the royal table in magic kingdom and gonna do one of the Halloween nights at Disney as well. Taking all my money
Rode Guardians and Smugglers Run for the first time today. Thought smugglers was a blast and could be more fun if you ride with your family and not a strangers. The detail is incredible. Can’t imagine this ride makes much sense for non English speakers. GOTG was…okay. It seems kind of silly to have it right across from Mission Space. The storyline makes sense but if you aren’t familiar with the series you may be a bit confused. Honestly the second preshow room wowed me more than the ride. The ride was like space mountain combined with Gringotts from Universal. Hoping to get on Rise of the Resistance tomorrow.
I've booked Shades of Green for when I get home late this year, but man... these price increases are really starting to be rough, even with military discounts. I feel like I'm too deep into booking everything though with my kids constantly saying how excited they are to go back when I get home. And I'm hearing Tron will likely be open by the end of the year, so having that and GOTG and Ratatouille as new attractions to ride would be nice to have. Outside of that, went to the new Lotte World Adventure park in Busan on Friday. Very, very small but had an amazing launched coaster and one of those new intamin vertical water coaster splash rides.
my wife and I stayed here when we went, its not motel cheap, but its certainly not Disney expensive. 10 mins walk down the road to the front gates of both parks.
Rode Rise of the Resistance for the first time. I knew a bunch of spoilers but still was amazed and had a great time. Also Mickey Runaway Railway was pretty fun as well. They really gutted that building. Do miss me some Great Movie Ride though. It was a monsoon for 3 hours today but luckily we were taking a resort break at the time. 3 down, 4 to go. Always goes by in the blink of an eye.
I didn't understand the context of this and thought you were referencing the song "don't stop me now" and had to check to see if a Rock N Roller Coaster starring Queen announcement was made lol
