I don’t really understand why people dislike the Trackers. Maybe there’s something I’m missing, but they seem like a perfectly nice family.

 

I don't actively dislike them, but i do prefer other people's vlogs. DIS Unplugged (especially the vlogs with Craig or Ryno) and Ordinary Adventures are better. I would say Tim's on screen persona just comes off as kind of fake and it puts people off.

Some of the troll youtube accounts targeting them i've seen are downright creepy though.

 

Hmm, I’ve always found Tim to feel pretty genuine, although I guess without having met them or knowing them in real life that’s a pretty difficult thing to determine. If anything, I’ve found Jen’s persona to feel more fake than Tim’s haha

 

Saw Tim at Epcot around a year ago waiting outside American pavilion bathrooms. Never went up to him cuz I’ve never felt comfortable doing that to people.

also, something came out about their old videos not too long ago, with people calling them out for some racist language (if I remember correctly)

they deleted the videos and I never ended up seeing what they were being accused of and relied instead on some Twitter threads about it

I don’t entirely remember what transpired

 

I remember them addressing it in a video, and they spoke at length about how unacceptable it was, and how apologetic they were, and I believe they made some donations and took some time off from making videos, as well.

Obviously doesn’t erase the things they said/did (I don’t remember specifics either), but I do remember thinking it was good to see them actually own their shit.

I first encountered them about a year before the pandemic hit, and when I went back to watch videos from when they first started, I was shocked at how much different they seemed. They genuinely were pretty insufferable back then.

first of all, I cant believe schools still do shit like that

 

All the parents who freak out over the thought of their kids learning that gay people exist and racism is real from their schools wouldn’t twitch at the sight of that

 

Holy crap at that death at ICON Park in Orlando... never been a fan of tower rides, definitely not doing one anytime soon.

 

So fucked up. I’ve always enjoyed drop tower rides, but now I’m second guessing myself, or at least the ones that tilt you toward the ground.

 

Some good theme park news

 

Has there been any word on that new China Circlevision film at Epcot?. It's been in development for longer than some major AAA attractions take. I'm assuming Covid prevented them from filming in China. Wondering if there has been any developments on that.

It got announced at the same time as the updated Canada film, and the Canada one opened over 2 years ago.

 

There’s been so little news that I forgot it was happening

 

Cosmic Rewind officially opening May 27th, to no one's surprise

 

Memorial Day weekend, cannot fathom how long those lines will be

 

I probably won't ride it until 2023 unless I sneak in a trip down there at some point, but I might wait until Tron is open as well

 

I'll check it out when I go to HHN in October. Ratatouille too.

 

I normally don’t watch Disney vloggers but I’ve been watching a ton of Paging Mr Morrow and would die for him

 

I will probably try waking up early one day to pay for some lightning lanes for it, but no way I’m waiting 3+ hours for a ride anymore at my old age

Opening week for Gringotts was the last time I’ve ever done that and I don’t plan on starting again
