It was originally talked about as a possible expansion, but I’m betting we see a Pokémon attraction of some sort at EU come opening day
I hope we get the original rumored plan of Mario (and eventually DK) at EU, Pokemon replacing Kidzone a US, and Legend of Zelda replacing Lost Continent at IoA. Two seperate videogame lands in one park would be a little much.
I don't really go to parks but i casually pay attention to news and the fandom. I recently watched a video about "What should Disney do with Rock N Roller Coaster?" and they were throwing out like Incredibles or Monsters Inc, ect. My thought was why should they replace it or completely overhaul it? The idea of a indoor music centric coaster is a good idea and it fits with the land it's in, it's just that Aerosmith isn't really relevant anymore. I say keep the basic theme/layout the same, just change the band/music/pre-show media. Saying that i then i had the thought "ok what band then?". Well what's the one band where Disney owns the rights to their music library, Disney owns the rights to their recent hit biopic, people still buy their merch, they're still making plenty of money, and they have been proven to be timeless? Queen. Re-theme it to Queen. They are for all intensive purposes a Disney IP anyway.
Rock n roller coaster could be rethemed for a bunch of different, more relevant music instead of one band perhaps. you know like Neil young or something or like steely Dan Or like Beethoven Beatles coaster baby you can ride my coasterrrr
As long as the ride itself stays generally the same, I don’t really care what the theme is. That’s a fun coaster
Just booked a one night solo trip for next week. My wife and I got AP this past summer and haven’t been since. Work has been stressful as shit. (I’m a K-3 principal). Got flight for $50 and hotel with express pass for $230. Basically gonna be there two full days. Nervous about going solo but pumped to ride Velocicoaster countless times.
Oh no. Wife and I already have our trip planned for that weekend and now we’ll need to figure out if we want to try and get on Cosmic Rewind or avoid the chaos all together…
We somehow timed one of our vacations with the opening of Pandora a few years back. That shit was WILD. I don't recall how early we got there (we usually get to the parks an hour prior to opening) and the line was all the way to the ticket entryway. Somehow was able to get two rides on FoP (RIP Parent Swap) and the boat ride. I'm not sure CR would be AS crazy, given it's a roller coaster so less amount of people to ride it. And now that I think of it, I'm sure it'll be a virtual queue anyways.
I’m definitely hoping for the virtual queue so we can at least know going into the day whether or not we have a chance of riding.
I think virtual queue will be how all new big ticket rides open up to start. Wonder if youll be able to immeriately lightening pass it.
Got back from a weeklong trip to Disney World last week and Rise of the Resistance is just an amazing ride. Exceeded all expectations I had for it. Also, Lightning Lane/Genie+ was useful but still has some flaws to it. Mainly that you don't really get to select a time, and right at 7am when you try to book you will see a time but by the time you select your party it reassigns you to a different time without notice
