I went to Kennywood back in July and it was fun. Phantom's Revenge was definitely my favorite coaster in the park (and actually one of my favorite coasters overall) but Steel Phantom was also great. Sky Rocket and Thunderbolt were pretty decent and I also had a lot of fun on Black Widow.
Can’t make it this year for a variety of reasons, but looking forward to checking out all the videos covering the event. Hoping to get back next year.
I’ve heard a few people saying as much, but that rumour has been around for a long time now, and I’m not sure there’s anything to really back it up aside from Universal/Nintendo having a working relationship. Would probably be awesome though
I remember being very confused by Poseidon's Fury because my family first went to IOA soon after it opened and then 10 years later and it was sooo different. The entire second time I was like, “This is nothing like how I remember it. Did I imagine a completely different story?” Only to find out a few years later they totally redid the show in between our visits.
OH BABY BREAKING: Space 220 Restaurant Finally Opening in Mid-September at EPCOT, First Detailed Look Inside - WDW News Today
Wow that’s surprising. It seems like Disney now creates new experiences for the upper middle to upper class. I feel bad for the staff when they are going to have to tell someone that they can’t just eat a space hamburger and a bud light. Saw they opened a new Halloween store in IOA. Between that and the reselling of the 50th Anniversary preview merch it almost seems like people are buying theme park tickets to simply buy merch. I find it funny that merch was the only thing not impacted by COVID.
Down to five days remaining to make a cancellation decision for my end-of-August trip to WDW. Apparently, the park levels are supposed to be extremely low because everyone's abandoning their reservations. I don't really trust myself to make the right call, haha.
My friend has been a few times recently and my wife was there for the day 2 weeks ago, all have reported that everything felt extremely comfortable, really nobody breaking mask rules, if this helps you at all hah. I dont think id have it in me to cancel if i got down to the wire like that.
Thanks! That does help quite a bit - I was wondering how seriously people were taking it there although I'm sure the airport might be another story. My wife and I are both vaccinated, but I'm a little nervous about taking it home to our five year old (though she's not coming with us). I'm sure we'll be fine, though, and I've never been to Epcot. Maybe I'll just let my wife make the decision.
