has anyone watched Behind The Attraction yet? I've heard its not great, but I'll take any parks content on D+ so I'll probably still watch it.
Anyone else in here a runner? I'm attempting to get a bib for to run the marathon during Marathon weekend at WDW. This will be my first marathon and I'll be turning 31 that week so my fiancée and I will be going to Orlando for 9 days Based on the runs that have opened so far, I'm hoping it won't be too much of a pain to get a bib
It’s very paint by numbers in what I have seen so far. Did you know Walt was watching his daughters playing at the park and thought what if there was a place where adults could play with their kids yadda yadda yadda
A little further into the episode I watched but it was so logged down with what you expect in any Disney doc that by the time it got to anything interesting I was half invested. Admittedly I need to try another episode, but the next one is haunted mansion and we will see if I can make it through what I’m sure is a 20 minute explainer on peppers ghost
Yeah I imagine it won’t feature anything that wasn’t mentioned in that haunted mansion imagineer book, but I’m such a sucker for these docuseries they have that show us the bones of the parks. I’m sure I’ll still like it.
I used to love the Travel Channel shows so if they are anything like that maybe I can try to enjoy them with some weed
Decided to do a staycation and stay on site at Disney for the first time for my birthday next month. I blame lurking this thread for the idea. Only doing two days worth of parks but still excited!
I assume you'll have your car if its a staycation? We stayed on site once and used the bus transportation. Talk about a miserable experience. Nothing like romping around the parks all day then having to wait for the bus or having to wait for two busses because the first filled up before you could get on
I’m leaving the car because I want to avoid the $30 per day parking fee at the hotel. I’ll have people locally meeting up so hopefully I can get a ride back after haha.
The thing about the Behind the Attraction show is I’m sure everything they talk about has been done better by a YouTube channel (Defunctland, Yesterworld, Expedition Theme Park).
I would love a true throwback to the Travel channel specials where it would be an hour long and they’d spend like 2/3rds of it just like showing you some bullshit daycare at a deluxe resort or someone making a cookie or something
My first time seeing him. I’ve seen a couple of the younger DisUnplugged guys at horror nights a few years ago. I always have my eyes open.
first episode of that new disney theme park show was whatever they kinda glared over the issues and why they were bad and it felt more like a promotion episode for the new movie
Yeah i mean, i dont expect disney to produce a show about why their ride is problematic lol like i dont anticipate there will be a behind the attraction episode on splash mountain
need that one ASAP But yeah I know they won’t explain why it was bad but at least say something more than hey it was offensive but that’s it lol
